InAbu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
Luxury with a capital L is dished up at the St Regis Abu Dhabi. Think butler service to every room and suite, a fancy rooftop pool with a swim-up bar, and a private beach. There are also six places to try fine dining, and a Champagne bar. A swish spa and a fitness centre top it all off.
FOOD & DRINK
There are four places to eat, including Villa Toscana – a swanky Italian place – and the Azura Panoramic Lounge, which specialises in Arabic meze meals.
You can pair food with drink at the hotel’s two bars. Treat yourself in the Crystal Lounge – it’s decked out with an elegant chandelier and mainly serves fine Champagnes.
- The Terrace on the Corniche*
Located on the ground floor, this vibrant restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. You can expect an exciting array of Middle Eastern and international dishes. If you are in a rush, the bakery offers coffee to go and handcrafted pastries.
- Crystal Lounge*
Showcasing some of the worlds finest Champagne, this place has a regal feel. It is adorned with high ceilings and chandeliers.
- The St. Regis Bar*
Decorated in rich walnut tones and Arabic-inspired art, this place boasts an impressive drinks menu. And there is a separate cigar lounge. Just so you know, gentlemen are required to wear a shirt with collar, long trousers or smart jeans and closed shoes. Ladies are requested to wear a dress or a skirt or smart trousers and a top.
- Villa Toscana*
Villa Toscana serves authentic Italian dishes with ingredients imported from Tuscany. The menu is seasonal to ensure freshness of produce.
- Cabana Beach Bar and Grill*
The Cabana Beach Bar and Grill offers a varied menu, including options for kids'. Wine, beers and cocktails are also offer.
HEALTH & BEAUTY
The ultra-swanky Remede Spa’s* got 11 treatment rooms. Fancy extras – like Champagne*, truffles*, and personalised therapies* – are available in addition to the list of treatments on offer.
Work out in the hotel’s trio of exercise rooms at no extra charge. There’s fresh fruit and cold towels to hand, and protein shakes* can be made on request. Personal trainers* can be booked, too.
- Rémede Spa*
Showcasing 11 treatment rooms- some with sea views and a couple treatment room, the spa focuses on creating a unique experience for each guest. There is an array of treatments available, as well as extra touches like Champagne and truffles.
The gym contains state-of-the-art equipment. There is also a separate room just for ladies.
Kids are catered for at the Treasure Island Children’s Club, which is shaped like a pirate boat. Here, they can play football and volleyball or take part in face painting, colouring, and origami.
The hardest decision you’ll have to make is where to lay your towel – by the palm-fringed rooftop pool or on the private beach. The former’s got a swim-up bar, while the latter sports cabanas by the sea.
- Outdoor pool
The pool can be found on the roof and has a terrace area to relax on.
- Laundry service*
