InAbu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
The leading lady here's the golf course. It's a pro-ranked, 18-hole course that sits by the beach. There are also four swimming pools. Three of them are outdoor numbers, while the last’s an indoor pool in the spa. Children have their own splash pool, too, as well as a kids’ club that’s stocked with toys and games. Meals are dished up in the three restaurants. Elsewhere, you can spoil yourself in the spa, or work up a sweat in the gym.
SPORTS & ACTIVITIES
You can get a rally going on one of the squash courts, or during a game of table tennis. Beach volleyball sessions are on the agenda.
If you’d prefer to work on your swing, you can book a round of golf on the hotel’s beachfront course. It was designed by Gary Player, who’s regarded as one of the best golfers of all time.

FOOD & DRINK
You’ve got three restaurants to pick from. Olea, the international eatery, serves giant breakfast buffets in the morning. For lunch and dinner, meanwhile, the menu switches to à la carte.
Two other à la cartes are part of the team here, as well. One offers a mix of Vietnamese and Malaysian dishes, while the other plates up Japanese, Thai and Chinese options.
There's a real mix of flavours here, in an elegant setting. Marble floors, large pillars and floor-to-ceiling windows with pool and ocean views give this place a bright feel, while there's a terrace, too, if you fancy dining outside. In terms of food, there's everything from beef burgers to cold mezze and Arabian dishes.
- Buddha-Bar Beach Abu Dhabi*
This fusion restaurant and bar serves a variety of fusion dishes using Asian and Mediterranean ingredients. When evening comes there's a DJ spinning tunes, while the mixologists put together speciality cocktails.
This restaurant specialises in Asian cuisine with Malaysian, Singaporean and Vietnamese dishes all on the menu.
- Manhattan Lounge*
This lounge bar serves cocktails, wines and Champagne. And there's a terrace, too, with sea views.
- The Drawing Room*
Afternoon tea's the speciality here, with sandwiches, cakes, coffees and bubblies on the menu alongside an extensive tea selection.
HEALTH & BEAUTY
You can get pampered with a massage in one of the 12 treatment rooms in the spa*. Plus, it’s got a sauna, a steam room and some hot tubs.
The 24-hour gym’s stocked with cardio and strength-training machines. There’s also an air-conditioned suite for indoor cycling* and yoga* classes.
- Iridium Spa*
There's a range of facilities and treatments available here. The 12 treatment suites include couples treatment rooms and themed spa suites with private terraces and water features. The facilities include a sauna, steam room and hot tub. Please note, you'll need to make an appointment in advance here.
Little ones will find lots of toys and board games in the kids’ club.
- Kids' club
There are four pools spread around the hotel – three outdoor numbers and a lap pool in the spa. Little splashers have their own pool to play in, too, complete with some mushroom-shaped water fountains and a slide.
The hotel’s pulled up along a sugar-fine beach. You can stroll through the grounds to get there, or hop on a golf kart for a quicker journey.
