There’s plenty to keep you busy at this place. For a start, there are two pools and a children’s splash zone. You can play games of volleyball and tennis, try watersports on the lake, or visit the horses and ponies on the ranch. There’s an American restaurant, or you can opt for one of two dinner shows, before roasting marshmallows around a campfire.
SPORTS & ACTIVITIES
The resort’s free shuttles will whisk you to the theme parks. Around the campsite, you’ll find spots to try archery*, basketball, tennis and watersports*. There’s a couple of arcades* and some playgrounds, too.
Head to the Tri-Circle-D Ranch, where you’ll encounter different breeds of horses and ponies. You can also sign up to horseback trails through the woods*, and rides on the back of a wagon* or carriage*.

FOOD & DRINK
American specials, like fried chicken and cheese grits, are the order of the day in Trail End’s restaurant*. Lighter bites are also available from the resort’s bars*.
Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort specialises in dinner shows*. Mickey and co take to the floor during Mickey’s Backyard BBQ, and you can expect dancing, singing and shopping at Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue.

As the rooster crows, there's a bountiful, buffet breakfast on offer featuring Mickey waffles, sausage, scrambled eggs, fresh fruit and more. At midday, à la carte lunches like Angus chuck cheeseburgers, fried chicken and waffles, and other Southern specialties are served. Sundown means suppertime, so mosey on in for all-you-care-to-enjoy smoked pork ribs, hand-carved roasted meats, peel-and-eat shrimp, and a baked potato bar. In addition, cowpokes on the move can wrangle dinner from the takeaway menu.

Rustle up some drinks and eats at the walk-up window and enjoy ’em in a rocking chair on the front porch. The menu has pizza, chicken wings in 3 flavours and loaded nachos. Beer and wine are also available.

Go grazing in the great outdoors, tight next to the Meadow Swimmn' pool. Salads, sandwiches and light snacks alongside ice-cream, beer, sodas and smoothies are on offer.
You can make friends with Chip ‘n’ Dale at their night-time campfire sing-a-long. Afterwards, classic Disney movies are screened under the stars.

There are two pools hidden among the leafy grounds. One’s accessorised with a corkscrew slide, a whirlpool, and a fort-themed splash pool for children. The other’s quieter, and has an add-on hot tub.

Barrels of water-filled fun at Meadow Swimmin’ Pool where there's a corkscrew waterslide, whirlpool and kids' pool. Young cowpokes can even cool off in the fort-themed water play area with tot-friendly slides. You can also take a dip at Wilderness Swimmin’ Pool, this all-ages quiet pool comes with a whirlpool too.

A complimentary bus service runs from the cabins and campsites to the Settlement for dinner shows, groceries, the beach, Meadow Recreation Area for swimming, arcade games and canoe and bike rentals. Most Disney Resort areas, including theme parks, water parks and the Disney Springs have a complimentary bus departing from the Outpost Depot.
Parking at the resort is free until 31st December 2019. You'll also have free parking at the Disney Theme Parks and Disney Water Parks.
