There’s an exotic, Balinese-style theme here. The lobby is a laid-back mix of indoor palms and bamboo armchairs, while the bedrooms have a chic, minimalist look. They’re well-equipped, too, with flatscreen TVs and Wi-Fi.

JUST AN OLD TIRED HOTEL WITH POOR MANAGEMENT
First this is an old old old hotel... no elevator to the second floor of the oldest portion of the property. So carrying baggage is out of the question. The dining options are limited and poor menus to boot. Even the bars can't turn up the volume on the World Series or Football for guests... even when I summoned the GM... the people are rude and unhelpful.More
We go to a conference every year. The last 3 years had been at the Hilton Orlando Convention Center. The best thing that ever happened was moving the conf. to the Doubletree (Sea World). The property is beautiful, the staff soooo much nicer, beds WAY more comfortable, and I got free bottled water, cookies, choice of rooms, personalized text messages from the staff...something we have never gotten from Hilton Orlando. The conference venue was way better because it was right off the lobby, they had large garbage cans in the conf area (we always had little garbage cans at H O), and I can't forget to mention the sit down meal provided by the hotel. The wait staff was amazing. My daughter has dietary restrictions and they cobbled together a dairy-free, gluten-free, egg-free meal for her right on the spot. That impressed me. Not to mention they were accommodating, friendly, and engaging. Lastly, the iced tea was real brewed tea and coffee was amazing.More
Impeccable Customer Service - Great night sleep too!
I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights while attending a conference. The service began the day before I arrived. I received an email from April the Guest Service HHonors Manager asking if she could assist with my room preference, asking if there was a special occasion etc. I took her up on her offer and she selected a wonderful room / upgrade on the top floor of the tower. As soon as I checked in, I received a text asking if my room was to my liking. Received another text the next day asking how my stay was so far. The room was so quiet I slept like a baby all 3 nights (which is not normal for me!) Just wish I time to enjoy the pool instead of working the whole time. :)More
Good stay over long Veterans day weekend
We booked 4 nights here over Veterans Day weekend. Hotel is very convenient to Universal and Seaworld theme parks. Check-in was quick and staff was all very friendly. Hotel offers a free scheduled shuttle to Universal and Seaworld but we didn't use it. We used Lyft to get around. It was affordable & much more convenient. Maid service was good except our maid kept turning down the thermostat all the way so when we would come back at night our room was a meat locker. I can't believe Hilton would approve of this since it wastes energy ($$). My guess is she liked to work in a cool room and then would not bother to turn the thermostat back where it was after she finished cleaning the room. Not a deal breaker but sure was annoying. The Breakfast buffet is ok but very expensive ($20/pp) so wouldn't do that again. There's also a $20 non-negotiable resort fee that gets you parking and WiFi. We didn't have car so it basically just added $20 a night to our room. We had a late flight so they were happy to keep our luggage after check out (no charge) in a locked room so we can go to a park that day. Complex is big so you may have to walk a lot to get to your room each night. Overall we had a pleasant visit and would stay here again if price is competitive with other similar hotels in the area.More
We had numerous issues at this hotel. We were there for a conference and were excited about staying at the Hilton. Our room was not clean, some of the staff were uncaring and cold but one of the managers tried to make things better. Its an older hotel and it shows. Not worth the price , especially when there are so many other hotels to choose fromMore
