The Highlands Reserve might be Scottish in name, but first impressions are all-American. The villas come with big garages, palm-lined gardens and even a mailbox at the end of the drive.
Inside you’ll find open-plan living areas with comfy sofas and dining tables that’ll fit all the family. The kitchens are kitted out with a microwave, a washing machine and a dishwasher, so you’re all set for self-catering, too.
But the real draw for this place is the 18-hole championship golf course on its doorstep. The clubhouse is only a couple of minutes’ walk from most of the villas, and the complex has a play area for little ones if you fancy a few rounds. Read more ››

Stayed in highland reserve report in 5 bedroom villa. Excellent location for all activities in Orlando Would highly recommend this area Buy fast pass tickets for Disney world parks we did and it saves lots of time in a queue when the weather is extremely hot Downside - don't go in hurricane seasonMore
we liked the location
We booked with James Villa and found this location really good. It is south of of Disney and Universal. It's about 20 mins drive from Disney and 35 mins from Universal. There is a walmart about 5 mins away, so you can stock up on food and drink. You will need a car. There is also a golf course but we didn't use it...but we did sit in our pool and watch everyone else play!. If you turn left out of highland reserve there is a cracker barrel about 2 miles up the road, we really liked. we are going back next year and are staying on highland reserve again.More

8th visit here
We love highland reserve because it is one of the best estates we have stayed in on our visits to Florida, this September will be our 5th stay in the same villa on north Hampton can highly recommend this villa booked through Villas 2000More
Just returned and stayed at 405 Gleneagles Drive as a party of 11. Lovely 5 bedroomed 2 storey villa with pool and games room which was very spacious and overlooked the golf course. Only downfall was the interior was a bit tired looking and could have done with a lick of paint and a bit of modernisation. Location is fab, you have a publix supermarket next door to the community and a brill chinese 'Bamboo Wok' aswell as a british fish and chip shop. About 10 mins and your on the 192, loads of places to eat and plenty of other shops and supermarkets. Totally recommend millers ale house, Bahama breeze and longhorns steak house and if we went out for breakfast we usually went to ponderosa which is very good value for money. Prob about 20 mins to disney so very easy if you are driving. We had a brill holiday here and would return but would probably book an exact villa so at least we can look at it before we go!More
Bunnyville 556 Bonville Drive Highland Reserve Davenport
6 of us stayed here for 6 nights. We were returning from Port Canaveral & found it easily. Nice villa & surrounding area. My 2 sons had a twin bedroom each. Master bedroom & other double had plastic on the beds so sheets pinged off on every turn- this did not make for a good nights sleep!! No instructions left for equipment or pool - but we eventually muddled through. Coming from Scotland, we're not too familiar with our own pools, so found this one very murky for the first few days. Eventually we realised that if we used the hose located outside & ran fresh water into it, that cleared it quickly! (Possibly obvious to lots of you reading this, but sadly not us & no-one told us!) Other than that the pool was lovely to cool down in the searing heat. Good wifi. Nice big TVs to the front & rear, so this enabled us to have a sport TV & a normal one! All the bedrooms have TVs too. No games room, which was a shame for us as we'd requested that. Golf course on site offered a reduced rate for 2nd round. ALDI in Haines city provided great value compared to Publix in Berry town centre. Handy for all the theme parks. Nice to relax & chill in after a busy day at the parks or shops, or just to do nothing.More
