16 golfers had a fantastic time
Golf Course – Great layout for a golf resort, a very 'linksy' feel to the course. The breeze was up so scoring was difficult but everyone enjoyed the day. Clubhouse/19th hole – The clubhouse had the feeling of a 'proper' golf club with mementos of famous (professional golf) members everywhere but we were still made to feel very welcome. Location – Champions Gate is a large resort and we initially tried to go in to the wrong entrance. Directions given to us by the security guard were not clear but we found it eventually.More
Visited Champions Gate for a game of Golf the staff in the Pro Shop were very helpful when we arrived. We were then directed to the practice range to hit a few balls which was included in the price. The price was fair if you translated it back into Sterling. We played the International Course lost a few balls but by standard that was the usual. You need to be careful when you book if later on in the year as the sunsets earlier in the evening. Tough course to play especially when it's blue skies and 28 degrees !!More
Find another course !
Tee times ran two hours behind , then we were stacked up going out. Course in terrible condition. Would never play this course againMore
Must play International and National Courses
The International course is one of my favorite layouts ever. It can be as challenging as you like by taking the risk reward shots. The greens are only a year old and are smooooooooth. The course still has issue from the hurricane from water. But other than that it's perfect. The National course just reopened. Brand new greens that roll perfectly. The course played a bit more forgiving that the International. It's a great resort course for all levels.More
Gorgeous property perfect for the entire family!
When we arrived we couldn't believe how huge this place was. We were upgraded to a 3 bedroom house on the Golf Course! There are 11 pools and a lazy river. The lazy river was awesome and the big pool by the main buildings were the best pools. Golf was exceptional and the service was fantastic! I needed a few more towels and things and 2 different people knocked on the door with a giant bag of stuff! Great condition all new and a great place to stay.More
