If you’re a bit of a shopaholic, then Orlando is the perfect place for you to stretch those spending muscles. It has huge shopping malls where you can scout out the best bargains or splurge on some designer labels. Here are just a few of our favourites…
If you’re looking for some bargains, Orlando International Premium Outlets is the place to go. There are huge discounts on brands like Nike, Victoria’s Secret, Michael Kors and Yankee Candles. There are over 180 shops that stay open until 11pm, and with up to 65% off prices at most of them, you’ll find it hard to come home empty handed.
The Florida Mall isn’t just any old mall, it’s Central Florida’s biggest – with a whopping 250 shops and restaurants to explore. You’ll find all the American classics, like Macy’s and JCPenney, as well as staples like make-up haven Sephora. And you don’t need to worry about the kids being bored, because not only is there a giant Disney Store and American Girl store (which has to be seen to be believed), there’s also The Crayola Experience where kids can get arty with over 25 hands-on activities – from creating colourful drip-art to making their own Crayola crayon.
Fancy a treat? How does browsing stores like Chanel, Burberry, Gucci and Louis Vuitton sound? Everything about the Mall at Millenia screams luxury, from the huge glass ceilings to the valet parking. This is not just any shopping experience. And after a long day browsing the shops, which also include lululemon and Bloomingdales, you can grab something to eat at one of many restaurants like The Cheesecake Factory, California Pizza Kitchen and The Capital Grille. And if that’s not enough to convince you to go, perhaps the fact this place is one of the top 10 malls in the world will. Not too shabby.
