    I just want to take this opportunity to comment and complement one of the housekeeping staff of The Maxwell Hotel in Manhattan. Her name is Ivana, who was most helpful in our time of need! As background, while visiting New York City and staying at The Maxwell Hotel last December, my son and I had soiled our clothes/coats while riding the subway. So once we returned to the hotel, I sent out our clothes/coats for expedited valet cleaning, expecting to have them ready and cleaned the following morning. However, I was informed the following morning that, because of a mix-up, our clothes/coats never made it to the cleaners the night before, and that our clothes would not be ready till mid-afternoon. With cold weather outside and since my son and I did not bring extra coats, I thought we would be stuck inside our room till mid-afternoon. Learning of our predicament, Ivana, one of the housekeeper, went out of her way to help us find a clothing store nearby (two blocks away) and also offered to keep an eye out on my special-needs son while I went out to buy extra clothing. Thus, my son and I were able to leave our room before noon. Thank you, Ivana! Special mention also goes to The Maxwell Hotel - they did not charge for the cleaning of our clothes and coats!
    Again, beyond expectations!!!

    The Maxwell NEVER disappoints. It’s a “ home away from home”...the room/suite I had was absolutely beautiful, clean, comfortable and IMPECCABLE Views! Room rates fairly priced, comfortable lobby, and fun, comfortable bar! Location ideal.. midtown Manhattan!! What makes the Maxwell “ , The Maxwell “, so to speak , are the” talent”. From the reception, to the maid service , etc..there are SOO MANY kind people!!! I know I will forget many, but very special thanks to Bekim, bell service!!! His welcoming smile and friendly personality is something I look forward to each stay! In addition, in the “ heartbeat” restaurant, I can’t say enough about how well the staff treats guests. Great breakfast, and “ Gorni”,” Wing”, and “ Diddy?” Are soo pleasant and professional. Thank you for a wonderful birthday weekend , and ALWAYS, a perfect stay!!! Don’t change a thing!!!

    Superb location at 49th St and Lexington. Walking distance to many attractions and best city stores. Very Friendly and professional staff. Good Marriott Platinum Recognition Nice lobby bar and Whiskeys Bar. The breakfast is very good and the servers are for you. Congratulations for that. Walking distance to many attractions. Good Gym

    Enjoyed a great night and business meeting at the Maxwell Hotel last week. Staff were quick and considerate, the room was HUGE, 25 foot ceilings with a wall of glass. Large bathroom with a rain shower that could nearly drown you. Big TV in the suite area, smaller one in the bedroom, heard there is a BIG UPGRADE coming for TV, with ChromeCasting available by end of February. Had a great breakfast at the restaurant with kind staff, and the suite was perfect for a demo and meeting with hotel senior management.

    Loved our stay at the Maxwell! Our plane arrived earlier than expected and we were able to check in early with no problem. We also had to extend our checkout to a later time and were able to leave our bags with the bell man, which made it so convenient to explore NYC. Saemin took great care of us and even directed us to some of the best restaurants in town. Great value, spacious rooms, superb amenities, and the staff made us feel very welcomed. Our suite had a great view and we were very close to the Metro. Highly recommend and will be staying here for our next visit!
