    The front desk were very kind. They understood that we had an overnight flight. They got us into a room early so we could sleep. The room was clean and extremely comfortable. The door staff was extremely helpful and had great advice on restaurants and helped us with subway instructions. We will visit this hotel again.

    The check in time is 3 pm but we didn't get our room until 10 pm! The guy at the desk had to go upstairs and physically check to see if the room was ready because "housekkeeping is difficult to get ahold of and it's not our fault". Once we got the room, the handheld shower was broken! Water everywhere! They couldn't send an "engineer" until the next day. The same "engineer" had to come upstairs to bring us batteries for the remote. "I don't need an engineer. Just batteries please". They tried to compensate by giving us free breakfast. Although the rooftop restaurant had stunning views, the free breakfast left much to desire. The double bed is actually a full size bed. Not queen..
    Beautiful stay for graduation weekend

    The hotel is in an excellent location for the sub-way, restaurants, the park and other local attractions. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The bathroom is small but not too small. The shower is large with good water pressure. The roof top bar has great views and good drinks. Happy hour is the best value but also very crowded. We love the new décor in the lobby and in the rooms. The room attendants were quick to respond to requests for additional items for the room. The staff was very friendly and gracious. This is our second stay here and we have enjoyed our stay both times.

    My mother, daughter and I recently stayed a night at The Empire Hotel because my daughter performed at Lincoln Center. The location is amazing and it is surrounded by wonderful shops and restaurants. Cannot say enough about the staff. From the valet service, front desk, housekeeping and especially at the buffet breakfast, everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable, very clean and had a beautiful view. Would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to stay there again soon.

    The room was adequate. Nothing to get excited about. It was all about location for the event we were attending. If the electric in the bathroom and the air conditioner were working, and the price slightly lower, I could give it a higher rating.
