You’ll spend most of your time eating here. The restaurant scene takes in an Indian eatery, a coffee bar and a brunch place. But the main attraction is the talked-about Burger Joint. Elsewhere, you’ve got an indoor pool and al fresco sun deck. For relaxation, there’s a spa, beauty salon and huge fitness centre.
FOOD & DRINK
It’s the food that really does the talking here. Start the day at famous brunch spot, Norma’s, for buttermilk pancakes or breakfast pizzas, followed by patties at the hidden Burger Joint – it’s one of the city’s best.
Coffee place, Knave, turns into a candlelit bar after dark, so you can tuck into light bites surrounded by chandeliers and oil paintings. There’s also a high-end Indian place and a healthy café near the gym.
- Indian Accent restaurant
Indian Accent is a Michelin-starred restaurant offering the finest Indian dishes, with an eye towards international cooking techniques and influences.
- Burger Joint
Burger Joint serves exactly what it says on the tin. Delicious burgers and chunky chips with a host of add-ons allow you to have the burger the way you want it.
HEALTH & BEAUTY
With a name like Moonshine, the spa* has speakeasy vibes. After a massage or facial, you can head to the blow-dry bar or the nail salon for a manicure. There’s also a barbershop offering free drinks with a cut.
The huge, two-storey gym* throws in a free personal training session with its entrance fee. There’s also a yoga-cum-dance studio.
You’ll find the indoor pool on the 42nd floor, which means sweeping views of Central Park are part of the package. If sunbathing’s more your thing, there’s also an outdoor sun deck.
The poolside menu ticks off things like BLTs, nachos and fruit skewers, along with drinks. There are more child-friendly options for little ones, too.
- Rooftop pool
The swimming pool is something special. It's set up on the hotel's roof. It features spectacular floor-to-ceiling windows offering views out over Central Park. There's a large multi-level sundeck outside, too.
