Have never stayed at this hotel before, great location and very walkable to the strip. Next to Hooters, Tropicana and MGM across the street. At time of check in (early morning ), John offered me the opportunity to check in early, but unfortunately that room had an odor to it. John definitely has great customer service and can multi task easy as the phones ring off the hook. Only negative on my 3 night stay did not get any turn down service whatsoever accept just towels taken and replaced on the bed. Got room service on my last night. No resort fees which is wonderful as far as I'm concerned, and a close 4 miles to the airport. Would definitely stay again if and when I come back to Vegas.

Well another visit, Dec this time due to a very very cheap flight from the U.K, I DO BELIEVE IN VALUE FOR MONEY. and this place certainly gets my vote, since I only need a place to bed down and shower,, The area is a little dull, but within walking distance of the strip, plus easy access to the airport,Since I take Southwest Air up on there trips around the West Coast, while there, As said before theres a restaurant, plus shop near by, If you want local shopping, either drive down Tropicana or catch the bus, plenty of shops including Wallmart, Eating places, and along Maryland Parkway go where the locals go, The wifi signal much improved, and the room much better nearer the office, kepted clean and towels changed everyday superb service, and the reception staff, A GREAT TEAM very helpful, and Maquis who works nights, wow his local knowledge was superb nothing too much trouble, all in all for the price you pay, and no resort tax, you cant beat it

Got this room on an internet website this morning because hotel I was staying at wouldn't allow late check out. My flight is at midnight at I needed a place to stay besides the sensory overload that is the Vegas strip. This place is cheap for a reason: nasty, small, gross, old, zero amenities (not even Kleenex), dark, hidden, noisy. I'll be honest, it's fine for a couple hours to cook before a flight and no bedbugs to be seen but I wouldn't sleep here for the biggest jackpot Vegas had to offer. I peeled back the comforter because ewwww and at least the sheets are clean. There was a cricket on the bathroom wall and less than half a roll of tp but fancy towel folding...lol. As for the bright side, ummmmm... no resort fees which will almost double the price of a room on the strip and close to airport I guess. If this is your last resort, go for it! Otherwise, keep searching.
Good for a budget hotel

I stayed here as one of the chaperones on a long distance trip for a high school sports team. We had about 65 people staying here for one night, and 55 of them were teenagers. I was super impressed by the staff. They had all of our rooms and card keys ready before we even got there. They were very organized so we could quickly distribute them and get into our rooms. The guy at the front desk was super professional and nice. The rooms were small, but surprisingly clean (except the carpet, I didn't dare go barefoot). We only had a problem with one room- it smelled like cigarette smoke. I informed the guy at the desk and he immediately had the maintenance man take care of it. When the kids went back to the room, it was much better. The beds were pretty hard, but they were clean, so that was good. The location is good- close to the strip. It was about a 10 minute walk to the MGM. My biggest complaint was the wi-fi. Although it's free, it was terrible. I could only connect for a minute and then it was gone. So don't even plan on using it. I wouldn't stay here if I had my young kids with me since it does get pretty sketchy after 9:00 pm. The front desk man recommended to us that we have all the kids in their rooms by 9:30. Overall, I'd say this is a very good value if you're a single traveler and just want a decent, clean room for a night.

I was in town for just a cohple of days on my own. Just a good place to sleep. The back streets are a bit sketchy. But the stay here worked just fine to get some sleep. Not far from the strip so that was cool.
