Hotel Cabana

So this was our second visit to this hotel last sept and this may ! Unfortunately this hotel has very drastically changed and not for the better ! The room was dusty on arrival in our 5 night stay we had maid service once and no clean towels ! Which meant I had to take my own off the cleaners trolley ! Food ! Breakfast was fine always something you eat but afraid tea time was a shambles ! The choice was next to non ! And repeated ! The hotel staff are non English compliant at all the hotel was full of Spanish and totally catered for in all aspects of their holiday! This is such a shame because I would of recommended this hotel as a base for a short break away

I stayed in this hotel Friday 12th to Sunday 14th July. I arrived at 1am in the morning and was pleasantly surprised when I was given a bag full of a packed lunch due to me arriving late. Room was on the second floor and was a great size two beds even though I was travelling alone. A nice balcony also looking out on the main road just to the right of the main entrance. The bed was comfortable and the shower was powerful. Room was cleaned both days I was there and fresh towels were put in the room if needed. Breakfast was lovely and a lot of choice for me. I’m not a picky eater and i could happily put a bit of everything on my plate. Even though I had paid for full board I didn’t have any other meals other than breakfast so cannot comment on the food. can’t say much about the pool as I didn’t use it as I was out on Saturday all day and left in the morning on Sunday but the pool looked clean and well maintained. Only downside was that the hotel is on a hill but that’s not too much of a problem with walking to the old town. Would I stay here again? Definitely. I had seen a lot of bad reviews online including trip advisor but I am glad I didn’t rely on those reviews when staying here.

This is my second time here, i returned back as it had met my needs before. However... i didn't enjoy it as much this time. *Food was poor, very limited to choice, before there had been something there that i would have eaten. *The food was Luke warm and bland. I found the staff not engage able, this was across all the jobs. There were very rowdy noisy customers, arguing and banging throughout the night and the receptionist was quite rude and did not come up and speak to them. Is a good location if you like going to the beach, i found that rowdy holiday makers were very noisy by the pool and if you are wanting to relax you are unable to. The rooms are very basic and do not supply a fridge or a kettle, so if you are to buy cold drinks they end up going warm. Also, unable to make a hot drink in your room, which isn't good if you are a early riser and wanted a coffee/tea. Needless to say i probably wont be going back to this hotel.
