Palladium Hotel Costa Del Sol

This hotel has been updated to a very good standard although at the moment there's leak in the 4th floor ceiling. Although I think the balcony doors were forgotten as they are old and ours is a bit difficult to open sometimes. Our room is comfortable and spacious enough for 2. With a kettle and a free safety deposit box, also has a fabulous view and air con that actually works. Can go to sleep to the sound of the waves. Food is generally good although repetitive (typical all inclusive fare). The staff are all friendly and helpful. Omar in the outside dining area was particularly good. A particularly nice touch is the waiters in the restaurant topping up empty glasses. The drinks are of a good standard, branded drinks rather than the local stuff you normally get at all inclusive hotels. I had anissue on the rooftop bar trying to order a black russian drink for my wife as the barman was insistant that this was going to be €6.50, even though all the ingredients are on the all inclusive list, however in the vodevil bar there was no such issue 😊. There are some special sunbeds on the rooftop by some Jacuzzis and 3 bali beds near the adult pool area but had no luck getting any of these as we don't get up early enough, I'm sure people sneak in and reserve these when it's dark, would've loved to have had 1 of those but with 1day of our holiday left I don't think we ever will. All in all a very enjoyable holiday and would definitely have come back but the prices for 2020 season have taken a large jump.

We travelled as a couple , can honestly say we had a lovely time. We were in room 902 , which had magnificent sea views as all the rooms do , although I think the floors from 7 and above have the best views , I note on the jet2 webiste you now pay extra for a high floor. Anyway to the hotel . Modern and fresh , the room was immaculate and had everyhting you needed , only little gripe was having to ask for toilet roll twice but not insurmountable , just a phone call, lovely to have a mini fridge for water . Bottles of water freely available from all the bars. If you want to be in the centre of town then this is not for you , but I was going for 10 days of relaxation so suited us fine , 12e taxi into the marina and only 8e to the peublo , I would highkl recommend a visit to benalmadena peublo , it is gorgeous . Food was varied and always something to find , the pool snack bar is the best I have ever experienced in an all inclusive and served all day so lunch was a leisurley affair . We did visit the beach and the hotel now has an area of sunbeds and parasols for guests use , be warned you need to be up early to grab one , I saw them being reserved with towel from 06.30hrs !! . The adult pool was sufficient for us always managed to get a sunbed and it was close to the bar . We didnt sample the night time entertainment so cant comment , we were happy out on the terrace where it is table service for your drinks which is a lovely touch . We visited both al a cartes and personally preferred the thai which was lovely . All in all we had a lovely holiday at the Palladium and will definately be back ,
