When it opens in 2019, the Riu Atoll will pull out all the stops to offer hassle-free, tropical island getaways. A spa, a big pool and direct access onto feather-soft sand are some of the features you can look forward to. So are the three themed restaurants and three bars – one of which will be a swim-up number in the pool. Added to this will be a packed entertainment programme and lots to take care of younger guests, including a hotel-run kids’ club.
SPORTS & ACTIVITIES
The Riu Atoll will hire out snorkelling equipment and kayaks, allowing you to explore the marine life around the island. There’ll be daily fitness workouts, too.
A RiuLand hotel-run kids' club and a children’s playground mean little ones will have lots to entertain them.

There’ll be a trio of restaurants. A steakhouse will be built with an outdoor terrace, while a buffet place will have show-cooking each night. An Italian eatery will bring the total to three.
There are three bars planned as well. One will be by the pool with a swim-up section, plus there’ll be an indoor sports bar and an al fresco drinking lounge.

You'll be spoilt for choice at the Dhoni buffet restaurant. Offering a variety of hot and cold dishes at breakfast, lunch and dinner, you can even watch your food being made at the live cooking stations. In the evenings, you'll find a themed buffet three times a week.
- Beef Steak House
Serving up grilled goods, the Beef Steak House is on hand, it has a terrace so you can choose to dine al fresco, too. Just so you know, you'll need to make a reservation to dine here.
- Sofia Italian restaurant
If the flavours of Italy tickle your taste buds, you can head to the Sofia Italian restaurant. You'll need to book a table to avoid missing out.
- Boduberu lounge bar
Boduberu is on hand for drinks, this lounge bar offers a comfy space and outdoor terrace.
- Sports bar
This sports bar is open 24 hours a day and serves drinks and snacks in the evening.
- Sunshine pool bar
The Sunshine pool bar is on hand for those daytime drinks, and with a swim-up feature, you won't even need to leave the pool.
HEALTH & BEAUTY
Pampering will come by way of the spa and wellness centre where massages*, facials* and a steam bath will be available. There'll also be a beauty salon*, a hairdressers* and a gym.

The beach will offer much of the same. The island’s uninhabited, so beach days guarantee peace and quiet. There’ll be free-to-use sunloungers dotted across the sand.
