    The LUX* Grand Gaube got a top-to-toe refurb for December 2017. And with its high-end spa and LUX*-style surprises, and you’ll find it easy to fill your days here.

    The LUX* Grand Gaube sweeps around three sandy bays on Mauritius’ north coast. Its spacious grounds are groomed with tropical gardens, a pair of pools and a sprinkling of restaurants.

    LUX* hotels are full of surprises. Just take their 'message in a bottle' idea, for example – three bottles are hidden around the grounds every day, filled with vouchers for gifts like special dinners on the beach or little boxes of Mauritian rum.

    Please note that the Deluxe rooms are exclusively for adults over 16 years. Children are permitted in the rest of the hotel and can use the facilities outside of the adults-only wing.

    LUX* grande Gaube is a fantastic resort, very child friendly with lovely staff at the kids club, the gym and spa is also is great! Special thanks to all the staff, especially Dhiren who really looked after us at Bodrum and also Palm Court. Thank you so much for your excellent hospitality and going out your way to make our visit specIal. Best Paul

    Writing this on our last day here in paradise while we are drinking an amazing good cafe americano from Cafe Lux (by far the best coffee we ever had outside of our homecountry Italy). Nice and lovely people, food and service on a very high level. 100/100 Thomas

    Had the most amazing experience at one of the best hotels I have stayed in. From the time we arrived to the time we checked out it was magical.What a beautiful setting, great service , super food at all the 4 restaurants-enough variety even for a vegetarian it was much more than what I could have asked for. The staff is always there to help. The view from our room was stunning. We are the types who hardly stay in the hotel and love to venture out but staying here was so different. Everyday there were activities planned- we did the water sports, attended a yoga session, went for a movie in the open and even attended a Sun Downer. Have fallen in love with this hotel.Would highly recommend it

    Simply the best hotel we have stayed in and a perfect location for our honeymoon. Our stay was excellent and the Prestige Suite was amazing, we really didn't want to leave. Special mention should go to the French Kiss team, especially Mevin Sinanun and Kumar. Your attentiveness, professionalism and good company made our stay that little bit more special. Also special thanks to Karan at the main bar whose excellent service and humour kept us entertained and looked after our every need. We decided after the first day to extend our stay, however the hotel was fully booked. We must thank Sandeep the duty manager, for all his efforts to try and accomadate our wishes. He went beyond the call of duty and ensured that our stay in the separate Lux Belle Mare hotel was as amazing as the Grande Gaube. Thank you once again, we would utterly recommend the Grande Gaube and Belle Mare resorts and can't wait to return.
    The Perfect Holiday Experience

    Our experience at LUX* Grand Gaube was perfect. Food is always plentiful and varied at any time of day– we never once felt we had to have the same thing twice or like we were in any way limited by what was on offer, only our appetites! Nothing is too much for the wonderful staff and no detail is missed in creating the perfect holiday experience, including the ingenious curved design of the hotel buildings around the back of the bay, which blocks the prevailing easterly wind to give the hotel its very own hotter microclimate. We stayed on the all-inclusive package, and I could not recommend strongly enough choosing this option– it made the holiday relaxing, care-free and indulgent in a way that it simply would not have been on any other package. The water sports are always available, and for most there are no time constraints on their use or reservations required. It is features like this which characterise the Lux experience, giving you the impression that absolutely everything is tailored to suit you.
