    Right on the sands of Kololi Beach, this hotel flaunts a pretty garden setting, a big pool and four restaurants.

    The Kairaba Beach has got a bit of a wild side. Its gardens are home to free-roaming peacocks and vervet monkeys. A pool takes centre stage in the middle of 40 acres of gardens, and the beach is a few steps away.

    This place is popular with foodies, thanks to four restaurants, an ice-cream parlour and a Cuban-style cocktail bar. A spa, a gym, lawn croquet and giant chess all add to the mix, too.

    Kairaba hotel is my favorite.extremely nice people,fantastic service,beautifull gardens.good atmosphere.special thanks to ibrima for his professional advise.a person with the heart on the right place.

    I have stayed a the kairaba on & off for 10 years, yes the hotel is looking a tad tired, and if you are expecting 5 star luxury, you may need to look at coco ocean or African princess for all mod cons, but the karibia has loads of soul, you will not get more beautiful gardens, and amazing location, the staff here are just exceptional from reception, to breakfast staff, beach attendants, cleaners, gardeners. All the restaurants are just outside the hotel, and ther are some fabulous places to eat. I still love this hotel, and would recommend to anyone! Just do not expect ultra modern luxury, we booked through Gambia Experience, and as always excellent Titan flights, excellent transfers, and all the reps are so helpful. We stayed between Christmas & New Year.

    Nice surroundings, beautiful garden with peacocks freely walking around. The food was pretty fine, and the staff is very friendly. Pool area is nice to relax and you might even see monkeys running around. The room was clean but we had some tiny ants in the bathroom. In general we had a pretty good experience in this hotel.

    We arrived on 19th November. Receptin were very helpful and all our luggage was taken to our selected room, superior with balcony. We had booked bed and breakfast. The choice for breakfast was brilliant. you could have fruit, eggs, pancakes, cereal, continental, in fact just about anything you wanted. They canot make good tea, ask for hot water and teabags and brew your own. Once we had explained it was there for us every morning. Rooms were cleaned every day to a high standard, the staff could not have been more helpful. The pool area was clean, towels provided. Once again the pool bar staff could not have been more helpful. For a hotel of quality in the middle of the tourist are this is the place. Restuarants and bars - cheaper than the hotel - are within a few minutes walk

    Have just spent 10 days of chill at the Kairaba Hotel. Weather was lovely. Was nice to meet up with old friends as we have been here 3 or 4 times before. Lads on the beach looked after us, as did the waiters in the pool bar restaurant. The hotel is looking tired and need of updating in places, rooms and balconys. Not all the rooms are tired, as ours was good, could not fault it, except for the birds nest on the eaves that has been there for do not how long. You can go all inclusive at this hotel, but we would not as there are plenty off lovely places to eat just out side the hotel. You could eat in a different place every night for 10 days.
