14) What does 'in-bond' luggage mean, and how does it work?

Some of our cruise destinations offer a bonded luggage service. This means your luggage is checked in the UK, security sealed, and securely transported. When you first arrive at your UK airport, you'll need to visit the Marella Cruises stand, where your luggage will be tagged with your cabin number.

If you've already checked in online, simply take your luggage to the bag drop. If you haven't, take your luggage to the check-in desk. Either way, you'll be reunited with your luggage on arrival in your cabin, so there's no need to collect your bags when you land.
If your cruise includes bonded luggage, we'll let you know via your booking confirmation.
