1) How do I choose my seats on the plane?
If you're flying with TUI or any of our chartered airlines*, you can pay extra to choose where you sit on the plane. You can either reserve your seats when you're booking your holiday, or you can add them later by contacting us. If you don't use our Select Your Seat service, your seats will be automatically allocated to you when you check in online.
Just so you know, if you're travelling with a child under the age of 12, we'll make sure they're sat with at least one adult in your party. By sat with, this could be next to, across an aisle, or in front & behind.
*Our chartered airlines are Air Europa, Albastar, ASL Airlines France, ASL Airlines Ireland, Evelop Airlines, Germania, Norwegian, Travel Service and Volotea.
Choosing your seats
If you've paid extra for Select Your Seat and you're booking your holiday more than 90 days before your return flight, we'll send you a separate email once the seat map is available to you. If you haven't received your email, it's worth checking your junk or spam folder in case it appears there.
If you're booking less than 90 days before you return, you'll find a link to the seat map in your confirmation email. If you've reserved Premium Seats, Extra Legroom Seats or Extra Space Seats, you'll be able to access the seat map immediately after you book your holiday. You can also choose your seats by logging in to your Customer Account or the Flight Extras website.
Flights with other airlines
If you're flying with another airline not listed above, you may need to go to that airline's website directly to select your seat. Some airlines only allocate seats and boarding passes when you check in. In this case, we recommend you check in as early as possible.
You'll be able to find the name of the airline you're travelling with, the airline's booking reference, and the airline's website address on your Manage My Booking page, just below your flight details. Make sure you use the airline's booking reference to log in to their website, and not your TUI booking reference.
