This beachfront resort comes with 4 swimming pools, 6 restaurants, and a stylish bar designed by Philip Treacy.
Sensatori Resort Sorgun’s biggest selling point is its location. It’s right on a gold-sand beach, and just footsteps from a 400-hectare forest. Just so you know, this place used to be known as Sensatori Resort Turkey.
You can choose from 4 swimming pools, and take your pick from activities like tennis, pilates and watersports. There’s just as much choice when it comes to dining. The resort's 6 restaurants showcase national dishes, gourmet cuisine, and everything in between.
Designer Philip Treacy was the brains behind the resort's Butterfly Bar. Here, you can sip a Sensatori Mystery – vodka, sparkling wine, cherry juice and strawberry – in a funky booth, while looking up at a rainbow of hanging baubles. Read more ››

Our new family favourite
We stayed here from 21st until 31st of October this year and we were the final guests to leave the resort this season. The weather was great for 6 days, cloudy for 2 days and 2 days had horrendous downpours. In hindsight it was probably a week to late and the weather was starting to change, so I'd advise going a week or so earlier next year. I read a lot of reviews on how great the staff were before we travelled, personally, I found it to be a mixture with some being really helpful but a few looked like they'd had a really long season and were looking forward to the season ending. On our first full day we hired a cabana on the beach, I was dubious as I thought €50 is quite expensive - but it was fantastic!! The weather was great, and beach boys kept the food and drink flowing all day. If you go to this resort I would really recommend trying the cabana. The pools were great, still quite warm, and we didn't have any trouble getting loungers. The food at the pools was a decent standard and is a good option if you don't fancy the main restaurant. The highlight for our family was the food in the main restaurant. We've done 5 star Turkey and Egypt previously, but we've never had such a wide variety of such consistently high standard food at buffet restaurants before. Whole Salmon cooked in Salt on Seafood night and Sushi on Asian night were two in particular that stand out. Not to mention the Ribeye steaks readily available. To be honest we'd go back for the food alone! The hotel was squeaky clean everywhere, and the room cleaners seem to sneak in 2 or 3 times a day to make beds and replenish towels, we really did feel well pampered here. We think this is possibly the best family holiday we've done so far, and will definitely be returning in 2018.More
Looks can decieve
Having been to the Sensatori in Fethiye we decided to give Side a try. We werent disappointed and had a really lovely relaxing week. We couldn't fault this hotel in any way, room was lovely, clean and comfortable, lovely views from our balcony, food was good although some nights in the buffet we did struggle to find something we wanted to eat so would end up with a bit of a mish mash on our plates but never went hungry. Personally I would like to have seen more grilled meats, chicken especially, I think we only saw it once, and I would have definitely loved to have seen prawns, I did not see one! Never mind there was lots of other lovely things to eat, the pizza was very good! The patisserie, well what can I say, this was our daily treat after lunch, absolutely delicious! Have to say it was lovely coffee in there too, much nicer than breakfast which was very hit and miss. I did think that looking back to the rooms from the beach wasn't pleasing to the eye, the rooms didn't really look that nice but as I said in my title, looks can definitely decieve. A lovely hotel with staff to match, you will have a lovely time here.More
Amazing holiday and visit to hotel and part of Turkey. By far the best hotel we have ever stayed.
Amazing holiday and area of Turkey. By far the best hotel we have ever stayed. The hotel and grounds were always immaculate, our room was beautiful with stunning views, staff were all friendly and helpful, food outstanding and spa treatments were divine. The local town for shopping was pretty and quaint fab for shopping or a night out to eat down by the harbour. Would love to return in the future, 100% relaxed here. More
Having only ever travelled on TUI holidays I was expecting something special from Sensatori , unfortunately this didn’t happen. We travelled with our 12 year daughter for a 2 week stay in October . I’m struggling to come up with any positives about this hotel but there were a couple:- Room was lovely, 2 rooms with sliding partition so we all had our privacy and spotlessly clean, beds very comfy , pillows bit soft but called housekeeping and got firmer ones within minutes. Staff generally quite attentive in the lobby bar (only after we had tipped them) and fairly good cocktail choices. All areas throughout the hotel were very clean and grounds well maintained. Coffee house and patisserie was lush, staff attentive and fresh pastries warm out the oven and mini cakes to die for and the coffee was amazing. Booking process for the A la Carte restaurants easy on the kiosks beside reception. Beach staff were good, with fresh towels brought to our lounger regularly and beach bar guy welcoming whenever we ventured down to the beach. I’m afraid that’s all the positives. Now for the negatives:- Food in the main buffet was average, warm and unappealing , there was a Chinese themed Buffett one evening but serving up the spring rolls and chicken noodle dish the following morning was enough to make me voice my concerns with the tui rep. Felt it fell on deaf ears but we did get a bottle of champers delivered to the room and a thank you for your feedback note from him when we returned to our room but wished our issues had been addressed adequately. Waiters generally inattentive and slow to tidy plates away and top up drinks in the buffet restaurant We booked into 4 of the A la Carte restaurants ( the Ocean Grill was 20€ a head extra) , Turkish was a disaster, food average but service dire as the waiters were also working in one of the other restaurants and rushing between the 2 which resulted in the slowest in attentive service ever, the seafood was again disappointing, soggy batter on the fish , wanting 65€ extra for lobster and not a prawn in sight, the Ocean Grill was amazing , attentive staff, wine flowing and quality food ( hallelujah) seems the 20€ a head resulted in the quality of service we expected throughout the hotel and Italian was average. Absolutely NOTHING for my 12 yr old daughter, she was too old to make pirate face masks and do crafts ( thank god the wi-if was good and she had her I pad.) and not interested in the kids football they did most days. There was a games room with air hockey, games etc but even that lost it’s appeal by day 3 and it wasn’t free. The hotel site advertises an open air cinema on the website but it seems it’s now an indoor cinema that showed a movie daily, again perfect for young kids but not really aimed at pre teen kids. Day time activities were ok but seemingly the ‘ concept’ of Sensatori doesn’t allow them to advertise what’s on and they’re not allowed to make guests aware of what’s going on, all the activity/ entertainment can be viewed on the TUI App or the tv in your room which resulted in no one joining in some of the activities. No waiter service around the family pool area , for a 5* hotel this should be standard, again I did bring this to the attention of the TUI rep who said ‘ there should be ‘ but again that didn’t happen. I did hear you get it at the adult pool area. ( seems a bit like they’re discriminating their guests) Finally the entertainment.. can honestly say the most boring/ repetitive / dull I’ve ever experienced. The resident pianist in the main lobby bar played the same tunes every night , boring boring boring! Guitar guy was a bit more upbeat, but there was no interaction with guests. The shows by the resident team and ‘West End style’ acts they flew in ( debatable) were good but why did they only last 45 minutes? You were just beginning to enjoy yourself and it ended (around 10.30) so the only place to go was back up to lobby bar ( boring) or bed.. there was no music after midnight, no shisha bar, no where to dance if u wanted, nothing, oh sorry there was butterfly cocktail bar , but only for adults and again you paid for drinks after midnight. I’m still confused by what is meant by the Sensatori concept they kept banging on about. And left very disappointed and feeling I will definitely not be back. We did speak to other guests who had been to many Sensatori hotels and the majority said this one was nowhere near as good as others they had been too so maybe we were just unlucky. This is definitely not a 5* hotel as the advertised ‘quality dining ‘and ‘high quality’ entertainment were a big let down and severe lack of attentive service in some areas ( mainly restaurants) was just not good enough. Spotlessly clean hotel with friendly staff. Good location with a bus stop outside the hotel - its a 10 minute ride into Side if you fancy a change. Buffet a bit hit and miss, didnt enjoy the theme nights but we never went hungry. Good choice of drinks available and free minibar restocked daily. Comfy sun loungers and free pool towel change daily.More
