The hotel comes with six acres of sub-tropical gardens filled with hundreds of plants and trees. A walk around the grounds will take you over wooden bridges and past ponds and lakes featuring black swans and Koi carp.

FOOD & DRINK
At breakfast, you can sit outside on a terrace overlooking the pool and gardens, or inside where there’s a little glass aviary. A nice touch is the newspaper you’re handed by staff on the way in.
The Oriental à la carte* was opened by the Queen of Thailand, and TripAdvisor reviewers really rate the food here. There’s also a Spanish place* that has excellent local wines, and an Italian* with a sea-view terrace.

Outdoor restaurant serving tapas, salads, fresh grilled meat and fish. Half Board guests can dine in here.

An Oriental-styled restaurant serving Asian cuisine with a three course menu. This place is open Thursday to Monday, except in May and July when it's open all week.

Regional and Spanish cuisine is served here. It's open Saturday to Wednesday, except in May and June when it's open all week.

This place offers classic Italian and Mediterranean cuisine with an open-air terrace. Open June to September.
- Christmas Eve gala meal
This gala meal takes place on Christmas Eve. There's a formal black tie dress code.
HEALTH & BEAUTY
The spa* is the hotel’s pièce de résistance. As well as things like saunas* and steam rooms*, it has an ice temple*, experience showers* and an aromatherapy room* fragranced with lavender oil.
Luxury treatments* include rose facials* and body wraps* using everything from papaya to chocolate. There’s even a Thai-style pagoda where you can have an open-air massage*.

There's an exceptional fitness room along with thermal pools, saunas and steam rooms here. Specialised treatments like a lavender-scented aromatherapy room, chocolate treatments and volcanic body wraps are also on the menu.

The bar* deals in low-key entertainment along the lines of flamenco dancers and singing duos. It has a great atmosphere, especially when guests take to the small dancefloor.

The main pool is a stylish affair framed by white parasols. The children’s pool is nearby, as is a restaurant that serves everything from sandwiches to tapas.
Over in the adults-only spa* area, there’s a heated pool with Jacuzzi® beds in the middle of the gardens. There’s also another Jacuzzi® tucked in a secret grotto, where you can relax with Buddha looking over you.
