Aguamarina Golf Apartamentos

First time in this resort .The appartments suit us very well. Large rooms .basic kitchen . Microwave. Fridge freezer .2 hob rings. Toaster .coffee maker but no kettle.plenty of pots and pans. Unfortunately not many electric sockets we couldn't find any in the bedroom and in the lounge we had to unplug the lamp and use the one on the breakfast bar that the coffee maker was plugged into. The tv is about the size of a laptop but perfectly ok. You need to get remote from Reception paying a deposit. There is aircon but it's not great and in the evening it sounds like there's bugs in it (sounds like the noise grasshoppers make) but we didn't complain. As it didn't bother us that much. View from room 217 is amazing. Would come back if we could get a room on this side of the complex. Pool is warm enough I swam in it which I've never done on a January holiday before. There's a free bus to Los christianos and Las America's but you need to book in advance. If you like peace and quite this is the place to come. We loved it. Staff are good. cleaners are lovely and helpful well done aguamarine golf appartments.

For the week covering Christmas, my partner and I had an apartment on the second floor, and we we’re delighted and relieved to find that it matched its advertising descriptions. All the rooms were spacious and clean, and from our wide balcony we had a good view of the Atlantic. If we’d wanted to cook there was the necessary basic equipment, and there was an on-site supermarket that was open till 9pm at night. We mostly ate out though, and I highly recommend the service and food at the Santa Barbara Golf and Ocean Club (just a little further up the road). The beds were firmer than I would have liked, but then I’d moan much more if they’d been too soft. I am the princess who would feel a pea, so all you need to know is that they were good enough for me to sleep on, and I did so soundly as the hotel is quiet at night. The blackout curtains were much appreciated. Like all of the shared public spaces, the poolside was kept scrupulously clean and there was always a sunbed free on the few occasions that I braved a swimming costume - not all the loungers had sun protection though. I was relieved to discover that there was no piped music, and I also liked the placement of the poolside café which was tucked away at the further end of the pool, so there were no cooking smells or kitchen noises. Less thoughtful though, was the prolific use of plastics that could not be re-used or re-cycled. On Sunday morning a quite bizarre thing happened, and I’m assuming this happens weekly. A marquee that had been empty all week was opened up as a clothes stall. So far, just odd - but then a less than shy woman emerged and proceeded to give us a fashion show to dance music alongside the swimming pool. As entertaining as this spectacle was, I did find it to be extremely intrusive because If I’d wanted to shop, I wouldn’t have been sitting quietly reading. Fortunately, I managed to resist the urge to get up and push her in the pool, but I would have clapped if someone else had. My third complaint; The Wi-Fi. It’s expensive, frustratingly slow and the signal is intermittent, and it really wasn’t made clear that THE WI-FI CAN ONLY BE USED BY ONE DEVICE AT A TIME. They really shouldn’t be charging extra for this. I don’t want to finish on a negative, as the above are all just minor niggles. These apartments are exceptionally good value for money. There clean and comfy, and the staff are lovely. We had a very enjoyable stay here.
