Don’t waste money on private pool
Good modern apartments but very disappointed not to be able to use the private pool. I made several complaints but the hotel have told me that it was as hot as it could be. Pool at activity centre was fine so not sure why they couldn’t get the private pools useable. Previously stayed at Bahia Del Duque and swam every day. There is also very noisy building work next door, so make sure they allocate you in an apartment away from that. Expensive property but I will not return or recommend it . SorryMore
Just returned from a fabulous holiday at Baobab Suites. Really enjoyed our stay in a comfy apartment which was well equipped and very clean. Great view and loved the hot tub on the terrace. Breakfast excellent - such a wonderful variety of delicious food. Enjoyed the bar area too by the pool. Only negative Baobab was the lack of a sofa outside Mirador 1-0-2, I had enjoyed this in another suite we had on our last visit. I wonder if the sofa had been moved inside as there was a small sofa not big enough for the 3 of us to sit on. I think a little reorganisation required here. All in all we enjoyed it.More
At least a hotel where have space and quiteness. A pool which is not crowded with people figthing for a chair (we have seen others) Restaurants for lunch and dinner with the right quality Advise: take your breakfast in your room - the breakfast area (not the breakfast: that is ok) is really in the cellar of the building. A pitty Rooms (rather appartments) are spacious, well equiped Do not hesitate to go backMore
Visited with 2 friends. We had a great apartment with everything you could possibly need. Cooking utensils and pans, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. Amazing view over the bay, beautiful at night. Lovely breakfast, if you want can also eat on balcony. Delivered in a wooden box, very generous portions, enough to use again. Is a little walk to beach, but hotel provide free taxi during the day. You must try the catamaran trip, lovely Thai food for lunch, friendly captain and his wife. We saw whales and dolphins. We will be back. More
We have just returned from a truly wonderful week at Baobab Suites. We were warmly greeted with drinks at reception by happy and friendly staff and were then taken to our room. We had booked a one bedroom side sea view suite for myself, my husband and our 14 year old daughter. I had requested a nice view as we were celebrating my husband's birthday and I had read some good comments about the views. We were not disappointed! We were up on floor 6 and the view across Adeje and the mountains was outstanding! We never tired of it and it took my breath away every time we went back to our suite. The suite had everything we could have possibly wanted from a corkscrew to a Krupp's machine! There was even a bottle of wine waiting for us in the fridge. The balcony was very spacious with an eating area, corner sofa and sun loungers. The beds were really comfortable and the bathroom was well equipped also. The suite was kept spotless all week by the cleaner who was very friendly and helpful. I can honestly say It was the best holiday accommodation I have ever stayed in. We only had one slight problem one evening in the kitchen area when the sink dipped within the kitchen unit but, as soon as my husband reported it to reception, the staff arrived to repair it and they checked it was safe again the next morning. To our surprise, we then received a note from The Baobab Team with another complimentary bottle of wine which we though was a very kind gesture. Breakfast was amazing and we alternated between eating at Bite and having the box delivered to the suite. This enabled us to keep stocked up on coffee pods, milk, juice and even a little left over for lunch on the breakfast box days. I have included some 'breakfast photos' as I was so impressed. We ate at the hotel in the evening on three occasions and all were very enjoyable meals. At Bite, there was a buffet dinner where the fish was cooked freshly in front of us and it was absolutely delicious. BB's was a little more formal with an a la carte menu served to us at the table. We had freedom to try a few other restaurants and bars around the area as we were not tied up in a full board or all inclusive package. The hotel and pools were kept spotlessly clean with staff working busily all day. The pools were very cold but refreshing as we were lucky to have such hot weather. There was never an issue with getting a sun lounger by the pool despite the fact that the hotel appeared to be full. My husband really enjoyed the gym and our daughter had a go at pole dancing, which she also enjoyed. We booked Siam Park tickets through reception and they also arranged our taxi there. We only used the shuttle service to the beach on a couple of occasions as we were trying to walk off some breakfast calories but we could have used it daily had we wished. We booked a few excursions quite easily at the beach, all of which we thoroughly enjoyed. We will definitely return to Baobab Suites next time we go to Tenerife. It is indeed a very special place to stay. Thank you.More
