    We stayed here for a week in August. The hotel was great, clean and modern. The pool was clean and just the right size for a few lengths to cool off. The breakfast buffet offered a great selection and the staff were all very helpful and friendly. We did not eat in the hotel on an evening, but enjoyed a short walk to the town where there was plenty of choice. We came home relaxed and refreshed, which was just what we wanted!

    Booked a late deal with Thomas Cook for this hotel. It was a lovely hotel and would definitely like to go back again. The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The pool was very relaxing and quiet, no music blaring out and there were always enough sun beds. Hotel was also nice and quiet apart from doors banging from 7.30 am when breakfast was being served. This is unavoidable as they’re fire safety doors that don’t close quietly but this was the only slightly negative issue. It’s a great location as only about 10-15 mins walk to the town. Lots of restaurants, shops, bars in the town and where boat trips can be taken from the harbour. We didn’t use the local bus service but spoke to other residents who said it was really easy to use, inexpensive and reliable. We could have saved some money if we had booked direct with the hotel and arranged our own flights. This is something that we will definitely consider for the future.

    Super menorcian town full of atmosphere,great for the whole family,beautiful restaurants down by the spectacular harbour.Local market stalls around the harbour,selling handmade goods.Easy to reach on local cheap bus service,don’t miss the chance to visit.

    We did something that we rarely do and returned to the same hotel having first visited 4 years ago. And we were not disappointed. The rooms, pool, bar and restaurant (we were on a B&B basis) are worthy of the 4 stars. Staff are very friendly. Most days the poolside was very quiet - perfect for the relaxing holiday which we were after. The beautiful old town of Ciutadella can be reached on foot in 15/20 minutes. But there are a few cafes and 2 supermarkets closer. This year we asked for a room with a sea view and it was lovely sitting on the balcony at any time of day watching others enjoy swimming in the bay. If we return to Menorca we wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else.
    An imposing old town & port

    Ciutadella was the old capital of Menorca, situated at the North- west part of the island. The old town with the castle and the narrow isles with the old houses is very interesting historically & architecturally. The port below is most picturesque with lovely fish restaurants and cafes. You must visit once in Menorca.
