We spend a week here with our extended family. Very happy with the place. Plenty to keep the kids and adults occupied. Food was buffet so sometimes not as hot as we would like. Drinks package was good and even though the bar served all day no signs of overindulging. Room was very good quiet and cool with good A/C. We would recommend this place

Stayed here in September. We arrived mid evening and went to the room, clean, spacious and noisy! The room was at the back of the complex, past the children's play area, facing onto the road, baron land then the sea, which was ok. The air conditioning noise wasn't! The whole block (inside and outside) was noisy! The main flu was a few doors away. It kept us awake during the night and the next morning went to see the Manager, she wasn't due in until 10am ish, we were told to go back when the Manager arrived. We returned, only to be told an engineer would go out to see what the problem was. That wasn't going to make any difference. We were told there wasn't any available rooms. Later that morning we spoke to Bex, Tui rep, within an hour we were offered another room by the 1st pool. Lovely room, no noise from the air conditioning flu. This is obviously an ongoing issue and isn't going to change. Management said they have never had a complaint but Tui rep said they were aware of it. Bex, thankyou, your a star! Cleaners came in 3 times to clean the room. The complex is as described. Evening, adult entertainment not the best. We were self catering so can't comment on the food but looked ok. During the day there's different things going on, archery, shooting, pool, stretching/pilates type class daily. Just a 10 min walk from the main street where there are bars, shops and restaurants. Bus stop at the end of the street. Much talked about Jimmy Hills 5 mins away.

Booked this holiday four weeks before and knew of these apartments as had stayed here before but not by choice as my original hotel was overbooked and my memories of it were not great i nicknamed it the concrete jungle as it was awful and tired. The reason i picked it was i know a friend who had an apartment in calan forcat and told me it had been done up so thought i would give it a chance and so glad i did. On arrival check in was quick and we upgraded to all inc as we had only booked self catering as it was only 19eur a day and we would have been daft not to and after doing some research it was cheaper booking s.c and upgrading at hotel rather than booking a.i with first choice. We were given room 68 which was a first floor apartment at the end of the block with its own entrance and was overlooking a side road which had hotel guest parked cars and there was some cars passed now and again but generally very quiet and then the view was looking out to sea and also a view of the coast and inland view too but you could watch the sun set every evening from you balcony. The room was a one bedroom apartment which was clean with a decent size bathroom and free wifi with table and chairs in the dining room free aircon and there was microwave and a modern kitchen area. The room was cleaned everyday and towels changed everyday bar one and it was a nice quiet room. Th drinks and food on the a.i were very good and all the staff were superb as were the animacion team who had enough energy for all the guests. There are three pool areas one has waterslides etc and is very popular and there is one near reception and one which seemed to be a little quieter which was furthest from reception but had views out to sea whcih is where we spent most of our time. There is a little sand cove five minutes from the furthest pool and another about 15 mins away via the cove nearest the hotel and there is shops within five minute walk and there is a square which has entertainment every night a ten minute walk away with a selection of bars and restaurants. The hotel entertainment was a selection of singers tribute acts bingo and karaoke but every night starts off with the kiddies disco. The only issue i have with this apartments is the dining room is it is far too small for the amount of guests and even though the staff do an amazing job of keeping everything going and ticking over they really do need a bigger building and i can only imagine what it is like in summer as it is chaos. The apartments are kept spotless even though it is such a busy place and as i said before the staff are all excellent and very friendly. I have to say before this visit i would not have recommended the Binimar but after this visit i would certainly recommend it no problem at all especially for those families with children as there is plenty to keep them entertained. Equally if you dont like a lot of children and like it quieter maybe this place is not for you but i for one would certainly return.
