THB Flora - Bed & Breakfast

spent an enjoyable week here on a B&B basis in a junior suite . Breakfasts plentiful and a wide selection on offer. All staff first class. Pools x2 1. Probably child orientated but a little small when the hotel is full. 2. Was nice pool but it had no shallow area, so a challenge for non swimmers. Life guards on duty at both pools all day. Room was well fitted out great bathroom with walk in shower, beds were nice, towels were changed 4 times during our stay? A double wardrobe with plenty of hangers an a annoying full length light mainly because it was fitted with a motion detector and no off switch, enabling it to come on whenever anyone moved. Other than that minor issue I would recommend the THB

We came here as a family for my 30th birthday back in April and overall the hotel and staff were fantastic! Food was lovely and we never went hungry... kids club during the day was fab, kept the little ones entertained, evening entertainment was lacking a little but theres so much to do in lanzarote that it didn't bother us we just went for walks on a night and to some bars down in the harbour. Room was amazing!!! Very new and fresh and cleaned daily. Over all a fantastic hotel with lots for the children to do x

We felt this was a great hotel overall. Although there are some things we think could improve it, we would gladly stay here again. When we checked in, we thought the hotel looked lovely but were worried as the receptionist was quite rude. Halfway through checking us in, he dealt with queries from other guests etc. We realised that staff service throughout the holiday was similar. Although it wasn’t rude enough to complain, it was just very limited in warmth and friendliness etc. The room was very nice on entry. It was spotless and spacious. We had the most amazing view where we could see the pool and the sea. There was a tv in the main room as well as the separate living room/bedroom. The room also included complimentary water and tea tray etc. It would have made the welcome even better if the third bed (in the living room) was made up rather than just leave the bedding. The two single beds in the main room were annoying as they moved very easily and didn’t feel great quality. All of this is picky though as it was comfortable but could have been even better. The pool area was generally nice. It would have been lovely if staff would pick up empty cups and rubbish during the day so the poolside was always clean and tidy. The edges of the pools needed clear maintenance as were cracked or discoloured. However, the pools were spacious, pretty warm at times and always supervised by a lifeguard. The hotel environment was generally good. However, it just needs greater attention to detail. For example, there were cigarette butts on the floor outside our room (not from us) and these were never picked up. Similar was true around the hotel. Outside the pub area, where smokers seemed to congregate in the evening, there would often by cigarette butts etc. We booked bed and breakfast. There was plenty of food on offer, there was aways space in the dining room and we always left full. We went to the mini disco twice for our little boy but it just seemed to be music playing. The animation team weren’t there and some kids were running riot so we chose to leave. Overall a decent stay and I’d recommend. However, the hotel could tighten up a few things to be five star.
