Parque Tropical is a great base in Puerto del Carmen, with a beach, bars and restaurants all within walking distance.
The small Parque Tropical apartment complex makes an ideal base in Puerto del Carmen. It's set on a steep hill, and there’s a sandy beach a few minutes’ walk away, which is fringed by restaurants, bars and nightspots.
The spacious apartments are decorated in a traditional Mediterranean style, with whitewashed walls and oak wood furnishings. They each have a kitchen fitted with a double hob, a microwave and a toaster.

6th Visit and the last unfortunatly
6th visit here and unfortunately the furniture is still the same , the lounge settee/sofa bed has broken slats replaced by a bit of block board, the beds are hard and uncomfortable, and there is very basic cutlery in the kitchens, we did get a replacement kettle. I the past we have loved it here perfect location, but, the pool bar is closed on Sundays now with the service not as good as before, then you have sunbedfest. at 9 am they are unchained and unless you are hanging around the pool at 8.15 you wont get a bed.!!, Then half of the beds are unoccupied until 12 noon!!, the hotel does nothing about this, we went to the beach some days instead. the place is very busy and to be honest there are too many sun beds for the space so you tend to be invading each others space which can be unpleasant. Good point nice rooms with some walk in showers, lovely staff very nice. Poor sleep quality though as our room beds backed onto the road which has a loose manhole cover so you get bump bump all night as the cars go over it. I am afraid the popularity of the place has not improved the quality shame because I have had some great holidays there.More
Rooms could do with modern facilities very basic.
The iron needs to be put in bin could do with a steam iron you do get wat you pay for. Room OK could do with modern facilities out dated furniture. Otherwise pool very nice kept clean. Food and snacks by the pool are very good. More
Spent a week here .. returning customer wasn't disappointed.. Really enjoyed our stay again .. we were in apt 52a which u access from the road ( not a problem safety or security wise) lovely view of the sea from out balcony... It's basic but very clean - towels changed regularly and bed clothing once . Pool kept clean .. when we first arrived there was people waiting for the beds to come out at 9am and by 10 they where gone but as the week went on , there was beds available at any time of the day .. Location is just fantastic 2 mins down the hill and you have the beach, restaurants and shops Would highly recommend parque tropical and we hope to return in the future ... More
Just came back from spending 2 weeks at this appartment. Very clean excellent customer service. Equipped woth everythin even a fan. Will definatly be coming here again!! On arrival our room was not ready due to our early morning flight the team then gave me and my husband 2 vouchers to get a free drink whilst we waited. Waiting time was only 20minuites this gave us time to explore and see the complex. Cannot wait to come back next year Thankyou very muchMore
Just got back from staying here for a week. Rooms are very good, we had ours that lead directly out infront of the small swimming pool. Rooms were very clean too. Wi-fi was a bit of a problem but it wasn't essential. The little hut around the pool was great and decent prices for snacks and drinks. My only downside was the sun loungers. We saw people daily from 8.30am waiting for the ok to collect as many loungers as they wanted, throw their towels on and not return till very later on in the day. There were signs all over the pool area saying this wasn't allowed but people still did it. Some days we had to sit outside our room watching like hawks ready to pounce on an empty lounger!! Apart from this we enjoyed our stay. See you next year!More
