Apartments The Morromar

We decided to go away for Christmas and booked The Morromar . We got there about 1am in the morning ,check in was quick and very polite he then said give me 10 mins and w3 have prepared you a cold meal and there are drinks available,bread rolls,biscuits ,we were not expecting that. Rooms are quite big we walked in with bathroom on the right and bedroom on the left with a kitchenette and decent size living room with a sofa bed and a single put up bed as we had 2 children with us. Balcony was bigger than we usually have had with table ,chairs ,a stone like seat on one side and a clothes line which is perfect as didn’t need to use the chairs.we had a king size bed if not bigger (seemed to be) was comfortable,safe is available for I think it was €12 for the week with your own key no buttons to press. There were 2 pools one at the top and one at the bottom the top one was cold but the pool bar was open but I never saw anyone in the pool,the bottom pool was warmer and everyone seemed to go to that one may be in summer the top one is warmer.pool was clean and fine they have steps or handrail Togo down and there were also a ramp which went straight in the pool I I thought was brilliant . Food was brilliant loads to choose from salad bar,pizza burgers,pork,beef,lamb,chicken,asst pasta,sprouts,carrots,green beans ,bread rolls,desserts,cheeses crackers ,pate plenty to eat.we had a Chinese night as well ,on Christmas Day we had a gala dinner which was lovely . All staff were very polite neve4 had any problems at all with anything,bar staff were friendly and was no limit to how many drinks I got I could get 4 drinks at a time. Entertainment was ok but I think it is not a brilliant thing anywhere these days bu5 we had something different we had a magician,parrot show,singer,quiz night,a lady who did tricks with hola hooops etc and got in a very small box ,The entertainment staff Connor and (Think she was called Iris ) they did there best Connor got involved with th3 kids around pool Evan jumped in the pool when kids asked him too.they were things going on during the day like tennis ,archery,darts etc. I would definitely go back to The Morromar.Very clean

Had an absolutely fab time here over the festive period, the food great, the accommodation fab, the entertainment folk my daughter loved..all round amazing, would definitely recommend, for families or couples of all ages

Had a lovely Christmas break at this hotel. Rooms were lovely, food was as expected for all inclusive as were the drinks. We didn't bother much with the evening entertainment. Would stay there again, perfect location and quiet at night. Negatives were they were still cleaning around the pool at 8.30 am some mornings? Sometimes the pool area was left messy. Overall a good enjoyable stay.
