The Occidental Lanzarote Playa has a big outdoor pool, plus a couple of splash pools for children. There's also one with slides, plus a waterside bar that serves drinks and snacks. There are two restaurants, a lobby bar and an entertainment area for evening shows. Tennis and multi-sports courts are in the activities line-up, and there's a hotel-run kids' club that runs daily games and craft sessions. You can work out in the gym, or head to the sauna to sweat it out.
SPORTS & ACTIVITIES
The hotel-run kids' club puts on painting sessions and theme days. Sports-wise, you can book a tennis court for a game, or join an aerobics class in the gardens.
Head to the seafront for watersports – there are options like snorkelling* and sailing* on the cards.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in the El Ancla buffet restaurant. The La Geria à la carte, meanwhile, offers a fine-dining menu.

For breakfast, lunch and dinner. For the wow factor, the restaurant provides show cooking at lunch and dinner. You can actually see the dishes being prepared right in front of your very eyes.

If you'd like to try Restaurant V.I.P, then you'll need to reserve your seat at the desk situated next to the reception area. You can only reserve your table between 10am and 11am. You have 1 visit per stay included, charges apply for any additional visits.

Found around the main pool area. You can take advantage of the self service drinks for yourself and the kids.
- Lobby bar

Found underneath reception, you can enjoy the All Inclusive bar, providing alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, soft drinks and tea and coffee.

Opening Times: [12.30-18.00]
Found opposite the pool bars. You can grab a hot or cold snack as well as salads and desserts. All of this is self service. Biscuits and coffee are available 5.30pm-7pm.

At the international restaurant. You'll get 1 free visit per stay as part of your All Inclusive package.

HEALTH & BEAUTY
Cardio and resistance machines are lined up in the gym. There's also a Turkish bath and a sauna, if you'd rather opt for chill time.

Say yes to that extra treat, and take advantage of the gym which is well-equipped to keep you in shape. You can choose to use either the heavy or light weights, fitness machine, exercise bike or the rowing machine. Open to 16 years and up. Charge applies to use certain equipment.

Mini-discos, live singers and dancers perform after dark. The lobby bar stays open until midnight, so there's plenty of time to grab a drink afterwards.

Run on a 2 week rota. There are 7 shows a week which consist of live music and participation shows.

Head on down to the disco held on Monday. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday.
- Kids' club
It's a hotel-run club for 4-12 year-olds. Parents will need to stay at the hotel and give a contact point of where they are going to be.
The main pool's a vast lagoon-style number that's split down the middle by islands and bridges. It's got a bar beside it for light bites, plus a children's splash pool with a toadstool fountain and a mini-slide.
There's a separate swimming area tailored just for little ones. Here, you'll find one pool with a big slide splashing into it, plus another with a stripy lighthouse in the centre.

The pool here is huge and comes with sunbeds and pool towels, charge applies for pool towels.
- 2 kids' pools
One is by the main pool and has a mushroom water feature with a climbing area on the outskirts. The second pool is split into 2 pools. This also has a water slide and large rubber rings for the kids to whizz down. The little ones will need to be supervised by an adult at all times.
- Outdoor saltwater pool
Relax, lay back and take in the sun by the saltwater pool. An ideal way to spend your day. With sunbeds and pool towels, charge applies for pool towels.
