Los Angeles Apartaments

Stayed at these apartments for one week 11th/18th September. The apartments are spacious and suited us well. Bedrooms had good beds and wardrobe space. The bathrooms are well fitted with twin wash-hand basins, hairdryer and great walk in showers. Although we always eat out in the evenings, we prefer the freedom of self catering and the kitchen areas are well equipped with hob, microwave, toaster, electric kettle. Plenty of crockery and even a proper teapot. Decent flat screen TVs (although the only English speaking channels we could get were BBC1 +2. There is no extra charge so no complaints) Also, unlike many other self catering apartments I have stayed in, the in room Safe, TV, Air Con and WiFi were all free to use. All the reception staff were very pleasant and helpful, as were the cleaning ladies. My only concern about the apartments is that some of them face into each other in an internal courtyard. Being of a more mature age than the majority of guests here, I was not keen on this. Fortunately, the very helpful young man on reception tried his best and we were relocated to an outer looking apartment on our second day. The apartments are in a great location close to Sunset Strip, the harbour, beach and bars,but are also very quiet for those of us who want to sleep through the night. Great value for money.

Having been to the island before we are experienced with the Ibiza scene and this time wanted to stay somewhere that was self catering and within easy reach of all of the amenities. The Los Angeles Apartments- a great place to stay if you want somewhere quiet, clean and affordable, within walking distance to the bars, beach, bus stops and local restaurants. This place is just set back about 5 minutes walk from Cafe Del Mar and a further 10-15 minutes walk along the beach front to Ocean Beach. The room we had was immaculately clean, with two single beds, a safe, double wardrobe. Modern bathroom with decent large monsoon shower. lounge/diner had a balcony that over looked a quiet street. The kitchen/diner has a small table and chairs-enough for 4 people, fridge/freezer ,hob, microwave, toaster and kettle. Cleaners came every other day and cleaned the whole place, replacing bedding and towels-would have come more but my friend and I turned them away twice as not needed. Location is quiet - both slept very well the whole week! There was one night when me and my friend came back quite drunk at about 2am and put the music on very loud and after 5 minutes and a member of staff politely came and asked us not to play loud music at that time. Staff are helpful, polite and friendly especially the slightly older guy with glasses who works nights that let us borrow his phone charger! Overall, a great place to stay if you want self catering somewhere decent and that's at a good price!

Just literally up hill from The West End! Large and airy Appartments but only downside was no pool but could use several around the area, very helpful staff. Room was large airy and bright with cleaners coming in every other day to clean and change towels. Free WiFi and safe. Supermarket right opposite
