Hotel - can’t really fault it, it’s very family orientated, as a young couple we kind of felt out of place. There is a tax to pay PP this was around €35 when checking in. Check in is 2pm, check out 12pm. (There is a room to store luggage) The Reception and bar staff were always friendly. Maids came round every day - just remember to hang your little door sign if you want your room cleaned. Day time - usual..... people putting their towels down and not returning to the sun bed until late afternoon, there was always plenty beds around though and you could use the beds on the beach too. The beach is rugged and rockyish with a boardwalk to the sea which loads of people were swimming / snorkelling in. The large pool is really deep but didn’t stop the kids playing around in it as well as the smaller pool. Evening - there were a few evenings of entertainment, Latin dancers, bird show, magic show which were advertised on the day and started around 10pm. Music and bingo were on before this. Pool party one day for the kids. The sunsets are amazing when the clouds weren’t in the way! Location - kind of at the end of the bay (makes for amazing sunsets) a little walk up the street and to the left there are more bars / restaurants. There is a spar type shop across the road which is open until 10pm. Water taxi is down the 3rd left behind the amare hotel €3 each way PP to San Antonio. For a young couple like us we maybe would have liked a little more on our doorstep.... but you can’t have it all I suppose. It is about a 50 - 60 minute walk into San Antonio and a 10 min taxi which costs €10ish. We got a taxi to Ibiza town (Eivissa) for €27 each way, which was much quicker and more convenient than getting a bus / taxi / water taxi into San Antonio then getting a bus to Ibiza town. It is well worth a visit, loads of history, boutique shops, nice bars / restaurants and more of a buzz. Cigarette shop (9.30-1.30 then 4.30-9.30)and Kumharas bar/ restaurant are down the 2nd left Room - We had a one bedroom apartment and asked for a high floor and sea view, we got the high floor and partial sea view, we asked to change rooms, were told to come back in 10mins then tried again, reception staff said she still needed to check with a senior member so we just made do with room 809a. ( reception take your passports and you can sign them back the next day) No kettle, iron or board, very basic kitchenette, no cloth, tea towel or washing up supplies. Shower was decent and new towels supplied each day if you needed (leave dirty ones in bath) The apartment itself looked fine, with closer inspection it is a little tired and grubby... but not unclean. Aircon was sufficient but timed off when the balcony door was opened. You can change some of the channels on the tv back to English by going to the settings and selecting all the languages as English Weird cup rule - you need to keep your cups when ordering drinks from the bar, we were never given restrictions about how much alcohol (and we had a lot some evenings) DO NOT pay for the cocktails, we had a mojito for €10, it was poorly made and a rip off compared to nice bars surrounding which vary between €8-€10. You are not allowed more than 1 drink at a time. The bar opens 10.30am - 11pm. There is an all inclusive drinks menu and another menu with full priced drinks (some are discounted for AI guests) Generally we felt very safe in this quiet hotel... with the exception of not having a safety deposit box in our room. ( they are available to rent at reception... in view of everyone) Meal times Breakfast 8-11 - amazing selection of continental and cooked along with fresh breads and spreads Lunch 1-2 - usually salad, pasta/sauce, chips, nuggets, a type of meat / fish, pizza, desserts Dinner 7-9.30? Different themed nights each evening, paella, Mexican, sushi/ fish, Italian, roast dinner, as well as usual pasta/ sauce, rice, salad, desserts Snacks served in-between meal times (hot dogs, burgers, tea/ coffee biscuits) I cannot fault the food, there was so much variety and choice for all inclusive, especially for fussy eaters.

Visited Nereida hotel during half term with a party of 2 adults and 2 kids (aged 6 & 8). The hotel is in no way magnificent but then we did not pay over the odds. Decided to go half board plus (so bed, breakfast and dinner with drinks). All in all, the hotel is OK. It’s a little dated in places - the reception isn’t too smart, the bathrooms are a bit dated and had the feeling of not being completely clean. Beds and bedrooms not too bad. The restaurant and bar area are OK. Pool and pool area probably the smartest bit. Pool is crazily deep ranging from 1.4m to 2.75m...! But pool and pool area is well looked after and clean. When the sun is shining, it’s a nice place to hang out. The staff are hard working and for the most part very friendly. Other guests are happy, relaxed and friendly - this hotel does not attract snobby types, and so the other guests are great. The food was average. Not the best. Being the end of the season, I felt that they had ‘given up’ and we were getting the dregs. As the week progressed (we were there just before it shut for the winter), there were fewer things to choose from, especially at breakfast. One by one, items disappeared from the buffet - first the chocolate croissants, then the hash browns, then the tomatoes etc! The hotel sits nicely overlooking the sea - not near a decent beach (there’s a gorgeous bay a ten minute walk from the hotel). But the overall location is a long way from anything really appealing. If you want bars, shops and restaurants nearby, then don’t come here - certainly not in October! It seemed deserted, and run down outside the hotel. Wouldn’t go back, but had a fairly good experience. Got what we paid for!
