With its fun splash park and adults-only chill-out zone, this seafront hotel has a big fan base.
This hotel comes with a fantastic pool scene. The main pool overlooks a sandy cove, which you can reach via steps and a slope. Plus, there’s an adults-only terrace and a splash park for children.
Meals are all about big buffets, and there are plenty of activities to get stuck into during the day, including water polo and archery. In the evenings, professional acts perform by the pool.

relax and enjoy
hotel rooms need updating yes but overall very nice place, perfect location and views to die for, staff do a marvellous job of running the place the cleaning staff were exceptional and always polite, bar staff worked very hard we never waited long for service, food was fine always a good choice and well prepared, we had a lovely time here and would say ignore bad reviews and try it for yourselfMore
better than what people led us to expect
after reading the reviews on here we wasn't expecting a great deal but we cant understand why it gets negative reviews for silly things . our room 248 was above the entrance plenty of space and adequate for what you need.we found the staff were pleasant and friendly. pool was large enough and we had no problems getting a sun bed was rather cold though. food was nice but we thought there wasn't enough choice but always found something to eat (probably due to end of season and not enough guests cause half the hot food section wasn't used).the view from around the pool over the bay was amazing overall this is a 3 star hotel that's actually better than its ratingMore

Amazing first couple holiday!
Please don’t read the negative reviews!! Just got back from a lovely week away with my partner 4th - 11th October. Was really optimistic after reading mixed reviews. We booked all inclusive and a sea room view (would defiantly recommend). We arrived and was checked in straight away even though it was 12pm and check in is at 2pm. We were in room 425, was lovely and quiet, even though the walls are thin we didn’t hear a thing. The lifts are really efficient and never out of service. Breakfast is the same old everyday, continental and the English fry up. Lunch and dinner are different everyday and there’s always chips. Lovely mini desserts too!! Waiters are quick to take your plate away though and never talked or smile. Bar staff are very energetic and lovely. Good choice of cocktails and spirits (no rose wine though😒). Entertainment is good for the kids other than that it’s just music and there’s only one guy that does all the activities. Rifle shooting is great fun. Rooms are basic but you’re only there to sleep, it has everything you need and they’re cleaned with new towels and bed sheets everyday. Only thing I’d recommend is taps for the bath!! Have to fill up the bathtub with the shower head. View of the pool and sea is amazing. The pool is lovely and clean, pretty cold but it was October. We managed to get the new sunbeds everyday even at like 2pm and it was busy. I don’t know why but the jacuzzi has an odd smell and was cold !!! The hill to the beach is only steep going back up, but it shouldn’t stop you going to the beaches. They are so beautiful and clear. Half way down the hill, turn right towards the other hotel and there are stairs going straight to the beach. Overall, it was a great experience and would definitely go back with family however I do like to try new places.More

My week in Portinatx
Lovely unspoilt hotel, in need of a little tlc and updating but still lovely all the same. Rooms are basic but functional, as you would get in most Spanish hotels anyway. Stunning views of the bay below and the coastline. Food is delicious and varied, apart from breakfasts (which consisted of baked beans, "English" sausages (no frankfurters here), tomatoes, scrambled eggs and fake bacon (doesn't look like bacon at home) and the usual cereals). The staff are a credit to the hotel, very friendly and efficient nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were cleaned daily and you were left unpestered if so wished.More
