Paraiso Beach Hotel

Returned after staying here October 2017, when gave it a 5* rating. Firstly, have to say the staff are still brilliant. Facilities still the same, no problem with accomodation, basic but fine. However, main difference was the food, particularly the last 2-3 days. We travelled on 16th October, few days earlier than last time. I commented then how good everything was considering we were there up to 1 day before they closed. This time, they ran out of a number of items (butter, bacon etc) after 2 days there. Food was definately being reheated & re-served at next mealtimes. Choices became less & less. I can understand them not wanting waste, but we did find this quite poor, and should have received same quality to previous guests. We found out that the hotel was closing on 24th, a week earlier than before, the day after we were leaving. It was explained that this was due to lack of bookings for the final week, so the few bookings they had were cancelled. My opinion is they paid the price but putting all their eggs in one basket by giving TUI exclusivity on bookings for 2019 season, up to mid October. It was only by chance I discovered non-TUI bookings were available after mid October. The last 2-3 days we were there it was very very quiet, only a handful of guests. Sadly dont think will be returning to this nice friendly hotel for our October break again, but would again commend all the staff for their fantastic service. Also, all inclusive drinks are very good. Feel sad to now only give it 3* rating, but felt needed to be honest on this particular visit.

Highly recommend this small & friendly hotel. Good selection of food & drinks all inclusive & adults only. We had a great week. I would like to offer 2 suggestions to make it even better. 1. Staff should enforce the no reserving sunbeds rule 2. There should be a quiet indoor area where at night guests can sit & chat, we met some lovely people but conversation was difficult due to the volume of the music.

This hotel comes very close to being excellent and if it was given a refurbishment I would not hesitate. The food is very tasty with a fantastic variety of dishes and a very full breakfast offering. Usually a roast on offer as well as many varieties of salads again a bit of imagination goes into the offerings with unusual combination of salads I loved the red cabbage orange and raisin one! Cocktails at the bar were excellent as was the drinks menu. The staff are genuinely friendly and I honestly think they have the guests interests at heart which is not what I have experienced at many other hotels with sullen waiting and bar staff. It is such a relaxing hotel that you can just drift away the whole time you are there and I find it a real chill out zone and a sanctuary from the outside world a bit like the whole of Ibiza. Even if you want an active holiday its a great place to rest after a busy day.
