This hotel comes with two big pools and a beach just outside. And evenings are all about live entertainment.
Tucked in a tranquil horseshoe bay, this place is just steps from a sandy beach. As such, all the rooms have views out over the ocean. Another big plus is the pool scene – there are two big pools here.
Meals come courtesy of the buffet restaurant, and there’s live entertainment every night of the week – everything from magicians to flamenco dancers. There’s a bar that’s good for cocktails, as well. When you're not staying put, the hotel lays on a free bus that'll get you to Puerto Mogan in five minutes.

Holiday November 2017
Lovely hotel in a fabulous setting, hotel is immaculate, staff are very helpful & polite, food is very good. Only downside is the fact that there is very little to do in the evening, the entertainment is not up to much and due to a landslide the taxis now charge 22 euros each way to Port Mogan where the nightlife is livelier- before the landslide the journey cost 5 euros each way - apparently the taxis are run by the local government/council who are money making. The other downside was on a visit in the day to Port Mogan there are a set of people who are with a local trip company who try to scam you into booking with them beware they are on the bridge and try act as if they are local tour guides helping you around Mogan We did thoroughly enjoy our holiday here and will definitely return to Gran Canaria.More
Loud thumping pool music
This was my second time here and one of the reasons I returned was that at certain areas of the pool you have a beautiful view of the sea and I was looking forward to reading, looking at the sea and hearing the waves, however that was not to be. Unlike last year they had loud thumping music coming from the pool bar even though the main age group there were in their 40s, 50 and 60s! The second day even though we moved away from the area the music was so loud that I had to go and ask one of Animination team, Michaela, if she could turn it down and was told very firmly 'No'! As I walked away I was also told by her that in the future I should not choose a hotel with an 'Animation team' in it, despite the fact that this is not advertised on the site!. I would love to be able to return to the hotel as the rooms are lovely, all have sea views and the staff are lovely but the music situation is very off putting. I don't understand why they need to be playing music when most people have their own music on their phone or ipods!More
Beautiful resort with very friendly staff that really made an effort to make it a very pleasant stay. Views form the pool were lovely, as you were able to look out over the sea from the pool. The only negative has nothing to do with the resort, but with its location: it is not possible to walk anywhere form the resort, so you need to take a taxi to visit Mogan for example.More
Lovely hotel, not enough ataff
We travelled as a group of 10 with ages ranging from 11 to 73. The hotel is rather impressive with a lot of facilities and a beautiful, beach front location. There is also a wide range of tasty food. However there is not enough waiting staff so the queues for drinks at the bar, service at the check in desk or a table at breakfast/dinner are long and frustrating. More
Just come back 11/11/17 from here. It’s stating its 4 star Platinium, no its not far from it, Rooms clean and airy all have sea views, cleaned every day with clean towels, ~Food well enough said , repetitive, not a great deal of choice, all buffet styled, coffee/.tea machines a load of crap, and don’t always work, help yourselves to beer /wine etc is not that great taste, and not always working, You cannot get any ice cold water from any machine or behind the bar, talking of bar the staff are rude and unhelpful at times, although they did open a bottle of wine for us which we bought from the supermarket on as few occasions, don’t expect too much from this holiday certainly not platinum,Sun beds are crammed in and not much space, always best by the garden. Al-a-carte forget it load of rubbish, not served at all and nothing more than in the main restaurant. The location- is out of the way from anywhere, always have to get transport, not many bars or shops either, The road to Port Morgan which is the next bay along and is in view is shut cos of a land slide, so another hassle to get there.Been there not going back,More
