Suitehotel Playa del Ingles

Firstly I must say that every member of staff in the Hotel was fantastic, friendly and efficient. However a few points which let the Hotel down: 1. No mini bar in the room 2. Toiletries sub standard 3. Charging for Safe in room unacceptable with this star of hotel and under all inclusive 4. when ordering wine with our meal on the all inclusive package they simply poured a glass rather than leaving the bottle which meant you had to grab a server every time you required a top up and now the 2 main things 4. Whilst the rooftop bar remained open till 12am all inclusive ended at 11! so drinks had to be paid for during the last hour not a huge issue but when you pay for an all inclusive holiday you do not expect to be charged when the bar is open 5. We stayed for New Year and were offered the opportunity to book our table on the rooftop bar for the midnight celebrations at a charge of 60 euros per person - however when I asked the question about all inclusive I was advised that there would be a tables for all inclusive guests. I did NOT expect to arrive at the rooftop bar to find all the portable heaters with the exception of 1 would be transferred over the "paying" area nor did I expect all the tables and chairs to be moved there with the "all inclusive" area left with a few bar tables and stools. all in all we had a good holiday - food was acceptable and as mentioned the staff were amazing

The hotel and room was very modern and clean, with a good-sized pool area. There is also a fantastic roof bar with Jacuzzis. We stayed just outside of the UK summer holiday period (late June/early July) and the hotel seemed quiet - it never felt crowded or noisy. But this did mean that there was little to no atmosphere anywhere in the hotel and there wasn't much going on. The food was quite bland and we mostly only ate breakfast (stayed on half-board basis). However, the location is great so there is PLENTY of other things to do or other places to eat nearby.
