TUI MAGIC LIFE Fuerteventura

Just returned from a wonderful 7 days out in fuertaventura! We choose this resort due to it’s sports and activities and having never been to the island ( or the canaries full stop) during the winter months arrived with an open mind as to what to expect. I need not have worried, the resort is excellent, the staff were friendly and attentive, the place was spotless clean and throughout the stay was always being cleaned. The food was lovely and the grill chef in particular was excellent and always cheerful! The activities were absolutely perfect, facility wise it’s one of the best hotels we have stayed in, 2 volleyball courts, excellent tennis facilities, a gym with classes and good equipment, plenty of day activities around the pool and a great entertainment team. If I was to be critical, the room was a lower standard to other hotels, but then again it’s a place to sleep for us so doesn’t bother me too much that it was basic. Likewise the transfer from the airport was frustrating as we were kept waiting an hour for another flight to transfer with us. All that was needed was for us to be told this was the case and we could have sat in the sun with a coffee or beer while we waited rather than sat on the bus wondering when we are leaving! Those minor issues aside, I can hand on heart say we had a great time, plenty of rest in the sun, some good times in the activities, great food and service throughout and would happily go back to this resort for a winter break again. The resort is very well laid out and there are ramps and lifts around so no problem with getting any where. Emailed the hotel before we went as needed a room close to amenities and they were very accommodating. Room was large and a walk in shower which I needed as am disabled. Food - A large selection and covers Vegan, Vegetarian and coelic. I have food issues and was not ill with the food as it was so clearly labelled. Just other guests putting label back in wrong place but just ask and they will help. All staff are very helpful and soon get served in the bars and coffee shop. Everyone speaks and seem happy to help. Tui reps are around and if you have a question then they are very helpful. We are going back in February 2020 due to having such a good time.

We have rebooked to visit again in October 2020. Myself and my family (19 of us) first visited in July 2018 when the hotel was forst renovated. It was lovely and spotless, great choice of activities for both adults and kids, and the restaurants were great too. The pool snack bar was idea for the kids and they could eat at their sunbeds. The food was excellent. The buffet had a great choice and I liked the concept of Downtown when you just order whatever you want at anytime! I didn't visit the tapas restaurant by the rest of my group did and said the food was excellent! The beach is fantastic. The waves are amazing and it's worth buying a boogie board from the hotel shop. We all had great fun! Very windy so keep topping up the sun lotion! As for the wind, it is very windy at night, so I would recommend packing zippers or cardigans. But there are indoor bars so if you get too cold then they are nice to sit in for the evening. I can't wait to visit again with my friends in October this year!
