The hotel has one freshwater outdoor pool with a whirlpool bath which is for 15 years and over, one kids’ pool with slides and one heated indoor pool which is open during winter. You can eat at the Andalucía buffet restaurant, and drink at the Lounge Bar or Old Pression Pub. The El Torito bar is next to the outdoor pools, and serves up drinks and snacks. There’s an outside games area, which includes minigolf and table tennis. There’s also a kids’ play park, and tennis courts. You can rent pushchairs from the hotel, and baby food is made and jarred fresh every day.
SPORTS & ACTIVITIES
At the hotel’s clubs for 3 to 17 year olds, kids get the chance to try out cooking and gardening, and can attend themed events, like pyjama parties. Teens have their own club with activities like archery and sports games. And they can take part in the ‘Star Teen’ evening entertainment show, according to the Weekly Entertainment Programme. There's a Mini Club for 3 to 6 year olds, Junior Club for 7 to 10 year olds, Teen Club for 11 to 14 year olds and an Ado Club for 15 to 17 year olds. These clubs are open daily from the middle of June to the middle of September and open on weekends for the rest of the year.
Castillo de Santa Ana is a 20-minute drive away. This 16th-century fortress gives a great insight into some Spanish history. Or, at the Mario waterpark there are lots of pools and slides to try out, and it’s only 10 minutes in the car.

FOOD & DRINK
The Andalucía restaurant puts on a buffet breakfast. If you fancy some bacon and eggs, a chef will cook them to your taste right in front of you. Or, select the ingredients you’d like in your omelette and they’ll whip one up for you.
At lunch and dinner, you can pick from a range of buffet options. Or, head over to the grill and choose some meat or fish to be cooked fresh. For dessert, have a pancake cooked to order – you can even have it made into a heart shape. In the Baby Corner, baby food is made fresh and jarred daily.

This place opens for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Alongside the standard buffet fare, there's a themed corner in the summer months that ticks off the likes of Italian, Asian, Spanish and seafood dishes. They're more than happy to cater for special dietary requirements, too.

The Playadulce runs a fitness club, where you can join in with classes including morning yoga, aerobics and stretching, according to the Weekly Entertainment Programme.

Puerto Deportivo Aguadulce is just a 10-minute walk away, and has a good range of bars. Sit and watch the sun go down over the harbour with a cocktail. Or, head into one of the livelier places and have a dance.

The kids’ pool is separate from the adult pool, but they’re still right next door to each other. It’s pirate-themed, and full of slides. In the winter months, mid September to mid June, the heated indoor pool is open for business.
