The Madeira Centro is right by the beach in the heart of Benidorm, and offers up some of the best views in town from its rooftop bar.
It’s all about the location of this hotel. It only takes a couple of minutes to walk to Levante Beach, and both the strip and the old town are just a little further on.
The property’s 21-storey tower design gives it a slick, city-hotel feel. Plus, a glass lift and a panoramic bar on the 20th floor mean you get some seriously cinematic views of Benidorm.

Spacious modern hotel with friendly staff, clean and comfortable, the ride in the glass lift has fantastic views. A small pool for the size of the hotel, and a very cold jacuzzi. The food was good but not four star, the rooms were small very clean, and the beds very comfortable , bathroom compact but useable. Nice balcony with great views, we were on the sixteenth floor. The fridge is a nice touch but no kettle, again not four star standard, all in all average to good. The roof top cocktail bar has great views, but uncomfortable seats outside. Come on management try a bit harder please.More
The food is not a 4*!
The Hotel itself is spacious and clean, we were on the 18th floor and had good views across Benidorm towards the Levante beach, the rooms are clean and serviced everyday with fresh towels, the rooms have a fridge and a TV with channels in most languages including the main Uk channels. The pool area is very small in relation to the hotel, but is well kept, plus you are only a 5 minute stroll to the beach. The food however is where this hotel fails. while offering a wide variety of options at breakfast and dinner, the cooked food is of very poor quality, the bacon at breakfast had bones in, the orange juice is rationed to 1 glass per person, at dinner the food is extremely basic very much like schools dinners, I have stayed in 2* & 3* hotels in Benidorm where the food has been much better quality. So in summary nice hotel, nice location, but don't bother with the food!More
Lovely Roof top bar shame about the staff
Stayed Sept 2017 for a 5 day break. The pool is small but you are a short walk from the beautiful beach and is very central to the Old Town too. We were allocated a very small room on the 12th floor with no balcony. We requested to be moved but was told they were full. Not quite true. The views from the roof top bar are amazing. Slightly spoiled by the guy working in the bar who when I asked for a coffee after 11pm he just snapped at me 'no' & went back to messaging on his phone. The following night I stood at the bar again & he ignored me as he was on his phone..no service with a smile ! Also the security staff who work on reception in the evening was extremely rude. I asked if he could order a taxi at 1am he looked me up & down & asked if we were residents I confirmed we was & we rather got the impression that he thought we were prostitutes. Breakfast was hit & miss. Cooked breakfast is cold and was slightly chaotic! Overall I would say Hotel is centrally located but if you're expecting a smile from the staff go elsewhere More
Planta 20 bar & Belvedere restaurant
Booked a surprise birthday meal here on 10 Sept for my partner. We called at Planta 20 bar for cocktails first, the views are fantastic and we watched the sunset sipping our mojitos whilst listening to the chilled dub beats being played by the DJ. The meal at Belvedere restaurant was excellent, we went for the taster menu which consisted of 8 courses that were delicious, the staff were very friendly and obliged with a lit candle in the dessert and a chorus of "happy birthday" in Spanish when I told them it was my partner's birthday. A very enjoyable evening spent admiring the views of surrounding Benidorm, will definitely return when again in BenidormMore

The BEST location
I have just returned from Benidorm with my partner.. the hotel is in the most perfect position. Literally 5 mins to the beach.. 10 mins to old town which has the most amazing tapas bars and also close to shops / bars.. and for the kids bext door to McDonald's! I am being kind however with the 4 stars.. only due to position. The lady on reception needs to tell her face to cheer up!! Very miserable!! Not at all welcoming. The maids are useless.. we had sweet wrappers down the side of the bed from previous guests and still there when we left! Towels aren't changed daily nor were the sheets! Don't expect this from a 4 star. Warning to all you ladies.. I had a guy try to steal my phone from my bag inside the hotel! So look out for pickpockets. Breakfast was nice but COLD! They don't seem to know how to keep food warm? But you do get a nice glass of real squeezed orange juice. the hotel is full of Spanish guests.. friendly bunch but hardly any speak English and unfortunately I don't speak Spanish so conversation was limited. I wouldn't recommend taking your children here.. the pool is tiny and there didn't seem to be any other children around. I wouldn't bring my kids here. Not worthy of its 4 star rating this is more a 3 star at best. Excellent location but nothing else going for it. More
