The Kaktus Albir has a long pool winding around the front of the hotel, plus a second pool up on the roof. Inside, there’s a buffet restaurant taking care of main meals. A glass-roofed atrium plays host to live music and dance shows after dark, and there’s a circular bar at one end.
FOOD & DRINK
Theme nights are the buffet restaurant’s pièce de résistance. Fresh crab and mussels are laid out on seafood night, while patatas bravas and grilled chorizo feature in the Spanish tapas spread.
- Buffet restaurant
Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner with a range of international dishes to choose from. Themed evenings mix things up, too, with nights dedicated to seafood, tapas and British classics.
HEALTH & BEAUTY
Fitness fanatics can pop to the gym, which has a selection of cardio and weight stations.
This place has a huge glass-topped atrium with a ballroom-style dancefloor. There’s a 360 degree bar at one end and tables along the flanks. When you’re not strutting your stuff, live musicians and professional dance acts take to the floor.
If you want to sample the nightlife, Albir’s most talked-about bars and clubs are only a five-minute cab ride away.

Two pools battle it out for bragging rights here. One is a tiered moat-like number with waterfalls, and is surrounded by pretty lawns. You’ll find the other up on the roof, beside a huge sun deck sprinkled with sea-facing loungers.

You can make the most of the views from this rooftop pool. It features a terrace with loungers and comes heated during the cooler months.
