Couldn't fault it
First time staying in this location and it worked out perfect for me and my 16 year old son...We arrived to a warm welcome and after paying a small extra for a poolside room we were not disappointed with a very large balcony and a lovely view...We went self catering so can't comment too much on the meals but we did pay around 8 euro each for an all you can eat buffet breakfast on our last day which was nice and comes in cheaper than one over in this country in the likes of premier inn...We never went to the new strip as it was the first week in November so a lot of places just starting to close for the season and we much prefer the old town which was a 10 minute walk but pleasant enough in nice weather and if you don't wanna venture too far then there is an outstanding cake shop joined on to the hotel and a lovely Chinese over the road which doesn't look much to look at but the food was lovely and you also have the likes of the usual chain places like maccies and kfc in the same area as well. Cracking large supermarket just next to the hotel is very reasonable as well if you wish to get supplies which in our case was 24 bottles of super bock for 8 euros and some bread and snacks but the hotel had everything in the room if you wish to cook your own meals and all spotless. Would definitely return to the Brisa Sol..oh and i went worried about getting sun loungers but we had no issues as the pool area is opened from 8am but you could have gone down at any point in the day and got one but maybe this is more difficult in peak season and we also got nice weather every day and it only rained once at night but on average about 22/23 degrees which for November is not bad.More
Very rude reception staff
Hotel is spotless cleaners do a great job and are very friendly. Reception staff are very rude and we also got a studio with tiny window and wooden door to balcony which was down four steps. My husband has a problem with his knees and I told a "lady" at reception that I was concerned about these steps and was told that was what we had booked and all studios have these steps. Turned out to be a lie as a studio across the landing from us had a glass patio door to balcony. We have actually stayed at this hotel in the past and although the reception staff were never very pleasant this time they were downright rude. We had booked to return for 3 weeks in February 2018 with family but have all cancelled this and will never return.More
Arrived to find we d booked a room without a balcony , walked in to to room and walked straight back thought id booked into Mr Fritzl cellar it was that dark 1 window and hardly any light in the room ....went reception to complain and got told thats wot we'd booked,so ended up paying extra for another room which was miles better with balcony over pool only other thing to contended was the occasional ants and silverfishMore
GREAT LOCATION TO STAY
First time to stay in this hotel have had lots of holidays around the area this is by far the best hotel we have stayed in.we had a one bedroom apartment with pool view.which was superb lovely large sunny balcony.Rooms and cooking utensils were spotless.the cleaners were in daily changing towels cleaning and changing beds as required.no problems with reception but had to pay for wi fi and safe.we had dinner one night in hotel dinning room not impressed with selection in self service .Food in the hotel patisserie was to die for both the selection and quality of food was excellent especially the pastries .The weather was beautiful but if you prefer a heated pool there is one inside this needs more control to keep children with inflatables and ball games out in outside pool.Hope to return soon.More
What a super hotel - can't fault it . Room was excellent , and worth paying a little bit extra for a pool view . Absolutely spotless everywhere , and the housekeeping service was of the highest standard , with bedding and towels changed every day . Staff all very helpful and friendly .There is a lovely little road train that will take you to the old town , and The Strip , that stops right outside the hotel.More
