The Hotel Falesia’s good-looking gardens set the scene for a terrace-framed pool and al fresco dining area. A 20-minute walk brings you to sandy beach, and some of Portugal’s best golf courses are nearby.
This hotel does things in style, with a smart restaurant and a spa offering a range of treatments. Upgrade room options include junior suites stocked with little extras like bathrobes and slippers.

FANTASTIC 60TH BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION
My wife and I, plus our two daughters, holidayed at the Falesia Hotel at the end of July(my son couldn't make it, unfortunately) as it was her 60th Birthday that week. I informed the hotel of the celebration, and asked for a birthday cake for her, for that day, after the evening meal. Not only did she have the cake, to our table, but accompanied by all the restaurant staff, who sang 'Happy Birthday' to her, in English and Portugese. The cake was made by the resident Chef, Angelo, a large, jolly and friendly chap, who was a wonderful cook, and a real character. Not only did she have a cake, but a bunch of flowers to the room, plus balloons and a bottle of 'fizz', with 2 glasses. The hotel is excellently run, the hotel staff were all friendly, ending our week there on first name terms with several of them. The Thomson crew were first class and provided top entertainment every night, especially Harry, a born performer! I can't say enough good things about this hotel, it is probably the best Thomson hotel I have ever stayed in!More
Stayed at the hotel for 3 days, it was absolutely perfect, the best part of our trip. The food was incredible we ate breakfast and dinner in the hotel. The executive chef from Rio was really talented and very friendly, our waiters Pedro and Ivanna were so awesome it was a pleasure to see them everyday. Looking forward to returning soon More
Amanda Nichole M,
One of the most relaxing & enjoyable places we have ever been.
Ok, so this is around the 7th time we have been here now, and honestly it gets better and better each time. You know the score you go somewhere else and after a couple of days of learning the protocol and where everything is you actually start to relax and enjoy it - not so here, you are relaxed from the start. Over the years the hotel has undergone some restoration work and changes and all are for the better. One source of annoyance was the WIFI years ago - this is now solid , dependable and fast and serves all the rooms. The facilities are good, the cocktails from Armen & the team are just incredible. The food choice and preparation is way above average for this class and price of Hotel, Rooms are spacious and clean and really nice places to stay. The grounds are fantastic as is the location - but like anything this place has a little something that is much more than the sum of its parts. That special ingredient is the team. Right down from the top, the management team all the way down - they are a true team and there is a real vibe and a true sense of togetherness and not just turning up for work to earn money and go home which is quite a rare thing these days. We have seen some small turn over of staff over the years, some move on to other jobs for either money or prospects, however the core team are rock solid. Carlos & Claudio run a tight ship and get the best from the staff without doubt. there is respect and a sense of a job well done. Some of the "characters" make this Hotel a place that keeps giving and such a delight to return to time and time again. Angelo, Fabio, Rui, Armen, Eduard, Claudia, Christina and Steven Seagull - thank you all for making our holidays memorable and special and "we'll be back" - (very soon actually).More
WOW.. What a place
We visited the Falesia 14th-20th of September and left wondering 1, why we'd never been to portugal before and 2, why we had'nt stayed for longer?! Everything about this hotel is fantastic from the staff to the food and the grounds it sits on with its beautiful serene gardens and carp ponds. For anyone whos not that into the daily pool side entertainment i recommended sunbathing here the peace by the ponds really is something else. 👍 Which takes me onto the entertainment team, Harry Jack and Megan whos limits really are above and beyond. From morning right through to the night times these guys really do shine, with great daily quizzes and games for all to join in, to the pool aerobics and their amazing singing in the night time act along with panache who are also amazing. Entertainment is next to none and the acts they provide are of just a higher quality as the rest. All were highly recommended by other guest we spoke to. Many of which return every year. Indoor pool, jacuzzi and turkish bath along with the spa treatments really are something else also, very quiet and peaceful area. Food was absolutely delicious and was always a wide selection of foods to choose from which was different daily. Would like to add after reading other reviews that we travelled as a couple aged in our early 30s, the other guests we met was all very polite and we had much fun and laughter with many of them and included ourselfs in the daily games with them. We believe a holiday is what you yourself make it to be not what others do! All in all we had a brilliant time would definitely return and highly recommend anyone wanting a peaceful holiday without children in a beautiful location to visit the Falesia! Many thanks the carlos and his amazing team (theres too many of you to mention) for making our stay as fantastic and memorable as it is. We hope to return to see you all next year and hope that many of this years entertainment is still there (Harry,Jack,Megan and panache especially). Many thanks again. More

We ha e just returned from a week at this hotel and it is the best break we have had. It suited us 100% the location is quiet. Every member of staff was smiling polite and helpful and genuine and enjoyed the guests. We witnessed some out of the box help that was given to other guests which was lovely to see and truly appreciated by the couple concerned. We can't wait to return next year.More
