The swimming and sunning options include a big pool, a private beach and a spacious paved terrace. On the food front, there’s a buffet place covering three meals a day, or you can swap it for the rooftop à la carte restaurant at dinnertime. Snacks and drinks are served at the poolside bar, too. Activities-wise, you can book a spot on the hotel’s powerboat and take a trip to another close-by beach, or if relaxing’s the priority, head to the super-luxe spa.

FOOD & DRINK
Food-wise, the superstar is the Olive Terrace*. It’s up on the rooftop, so you get a first-class view of the mountain scenery as you tuck in to dinner. The buffet restaurant on the ground floor takes the lead on breakfast, laying on a spread of omelettes, pancakes, pastries and cold cuts.

There’s occasional live music in the evenings, but this place is more about cosying up with a cocktail on the rooftop terrace. If you’re after a livelier scene, Herceg Novi’s clutch of bars is a 10-minute taxi ride away.
The pool’s a great size, and sits on a just-as-roomy sunbathing terrace. There are submerged loungers to laze on, and a big mushroom fountain to cool off under. A section of sandy beach is sat a few footsteps away, too, and a bar rolls out cocktails and snacks.
