The Hotel Capo D’Orso Thalasso And Spa has 3 pools – two are saltwater located in the spa, and the other is shaped like a big blob of paint. You can pick from three restaurants, as well as a bar which hosts live music at night. Sports-wise, there’s a pitch-and-putt golf course beside the hotel. The treatment menu at the spa* is big and varied, and there’s an open-air gym near the beach.
SPORTS & ACTIVITIES
Stroll inland through the hotel’s grounds, and you’ll come to a nine-hole, pitch-and-putt golf course*. It’s ideal for beginners, plus the scenery’s pretty special.
If you’re happy to part with a little cash, there are loads of activities right on your doorstep. You can go horse-riding* at the nearby stables, take boat trips* from the marina, and book in for scuba sessions* at the dive centre.

FOOD & DRINK
Classic Mediterranean cuisine is dished up in the romantic à la carte restaurant. It’s on a garden-style terrace, and comes with a stunning beach and bay backdrop.
The buffet restaurant’s set on another sea-view terrace, where show-cooking is a regular fixture. For a real slice of Sardinia, head to the snack bar, where wood-fired pizzas are baked in traditional stone ovens.
- Il Paguro seafood restaurant

- Cardio fitness area
Just like everything else at this hotel, the bar has an outdoor section with widescreen views of the Mediterranean Sea. Live musicians provide a low-key soundtrack, while you sample the local wines.
Follow the tree-shrouded trails, and you’ll reach the hotel’s curvy pool. It’s ringed by a handful of loungers, and if you keep heading towards the shoreline, you’ll find five wooden decks for sunbathing between the two nearby beaches.
There are two saltwater therapy pools on a deck next to the spa*, all of which are set at different temperatures. The water’s taken in straight from La Maddalena archipelago, so it’s as fresh as can be.
- Outdoor saltwater pool
The outdoor pool looks out towards the sea. It's set within a wooden deck and surrounded by trees making it a peaceful space to unwind in.
