This small hotel has a great pool scene and puts on a mean barbecue night. Plus it’s very near the beach.
This family-run place has a 2013 Certificate of Excellence from TripAdvisor. It comes with a good-sized pool and a bar that does snacks during the day. And there are barbecue and quiz nights, too.
The nearest beach is less than 2 minutes away on foot, and you’ll find shops and bars just outside the front door. Plus, the centre of Kos Town is only a 20-minute stroll along the seafront.

The perfect holiday
Well what can I say.. booked Alice Springs after seeing the outstanding reviews online, and we were not disappointed! George, Elias and Barbara made us feel SO at home. Lovely clean hotel, perfect location (15 min walk from Kos town) and fantastic staff. We couldn't of asked for more. The steak and ribs night is a must, gorgeous fresh food! A lovely atmosphere in the hotel at all times. During our stay Elias, (who raises money for English charities every year in a variety of ways including the London marathon for Great Ormond Street hospital, and PHAB kids UK) counted the money they've raised this season at the hotel and have raised a total of £1245 for the 'we love Manchester emergency fund'.. what a lovely thing to give back to British tourists!!!!! I can't recommend Alice Springs enough! Thank you all for making our holiday so lovely. XxxxMore
First time, great time
This was our first ever visit to Greece, Kos, Kos town and the brilliant Alice Springs hotel. We could not praise Elias, Barbara and George any more for the way we were treated from day one. It,s like being at home but with sunshine. The hotel is ideally situated, just a short stroll into Kos town and all it has to offer( bars, restaurants, history and really friendly people.) relaxing at the hotel is like having great nights out all day (thanks for all the wind ups George ) all the staff are friendly and do all they can to help ( thanks Rosa for helping too. E Lias will even book tables at restaurants for you if you ask. Our first time in Greece but probably not our last and if we come back to Kos there is only one hotel we would consider, so see you next year guys...More

Amazing family hotel
Just arrived back from a fantastic week staying in this lovely family run hotel. We went with our daughter and son in law as they absolutely love staying here and wanted us to go with them and we are so glad we did. An amazing family welcome greets you from the minute you arrive you feel part of the atmosphere immediately as the cozy comfortable area around the pool and bar and other guests are there to welcome you. Elias, George and Barbara are so lovely and along with the staff add to the enjoyment of your holiday I haven't laughed so much so funny. The hotel is lovely with so much space to chill around the pool and quiet garden area. Able to have amazing breakfasts served along with well presented meals throughout the day and evening. Can guarantee a perfect holiday to explore Kos and just a couple of minutes away a lovely beach front and tavernas so everything you need. More

One of our favourite family holidays ever!
Spent 2 weeks at Alice Springs with my husband and two teenage daughters and had an amazing holiday. We booked this hotel by chance but were very happy to see how popular it was after we'd booked. Considering so many people return again and again I did wonder if we might feel a bit left out when we got there as it was our first visit but I shouldn't have worried, even on our first day we felt as welcomed as everyone else. In fact, it was impossible to tell who were regulars and who were first timers as everyone seemed so comfortable and familiar and Elias, George, Barbara and all staff were equally as friendly to everyone. We have never felt so comfortable in foreign surroundings so quickly. Greek, quiz and BBQ nights were great and we went to all 3 both weeks we were there - great food, fun and brilliant atmosphere. Elias, George, Barbara and all were lovely and amazing hosts - nothing was too much trouble...even to the point that Elias and George went to get special bite cream for our daughter's terrible mosquito bites - and wouldn't let us pay for it!! We met so many lovely people at Alice Springs - the other holidaymakers seemed equally as happy and everyone was really friendly - we've never been to a hotel where everyone mixes quite so much, there just seemed to be something about Alice Springs unlike anywhere we've been before. We have never returned to the same resort twice (just because there are so many lovely places to visit), let alone the same hotel but we will definitely return to Alice Springs in the future.More
