A traditional Greek property in a beachfront spot, the Hotel Paspalis makes for a relaxing retreat.
Pulled right up against a sandy beach, the Hotel Paspalis couldn’t get much closer to the shore. What’s more, it’s backed by rugged, tree-stacked hillsides so there’s a really peaceful vibe.
Set among lawns, pine trees and climbing vines, the Hotel Paspalis is every inch the good-looking hideaway. There's a big pool in the gardens and a taverna serving fresh seafood and Greek dishes.

Stayed here 1st week of October 2017. Hotel brilliant, owners and staff were so helpful and nice. Bed was hard and they provided a mattress topper that made it so comfy. Requested a kettle for the room, no problem and no hire charge. Even lent me an iron, again no charge. The room was lovely and so was the pool and gardens. Right across the road from the beach, little supermarket up the road. Breakfast was same every morning, scrambled or boiled eggs, fruit and cereal but you could have a full english breakfast for 4 euros. Safe hire 6 euros for the week. This hotel is fab. Really enjoyed our stay there and are definitely going back. Best 3 star hotel we have ever stayed in.More
Fabulous as always
We have stayed here several times and our last stay August/September this year was fabulous as always. Everyone so friendly. Clean, lovely pool and poolside bar/tavern serving good quality food. The Greek dancing and music evening was great with most people joining in. It won't be our last visit. Hopefully not too long before we go again. Can't recommend enough. Very convenient for the beach, boat trips, tavernas etc. If you can manage it, walk to Old Skala. It's all uphill and fairly steep but there is a lovely view from the top and a great tavern there. Airport transportation can be arranged by the hotel but it isn't included. Well worth the money though.More
Spent a week B and B here and found it to be just the right place to chill out , room 22 had a great view of the pool and sea the sun when it came out was on balcony all day . Rooms were small and basic but clean . Breakfast was ok .same every day but the food at lunch and dinner was 1st class all homemade and tasted delish .. Short stroll to the town not much there a few more taverners and gift shops .... Prices were very good for a meal ...starter main and Desert plus 1/2 lt of house wine around 45€ for 2 ... Had a trip around the island for a day very pretty ..... But my advice hire a car if you want to spend a bit more time in the little towns .... We took a trip with our tour operator overpriced and to much rushing around .... I would definitely come back to this taverner ..the only moan is I don't agree on paying for extras like air con ...this should be standardMore

Nice place to stay
We were in room 10 on the first floor and had a nice view of the gardens and the sea. The room, including the bathroom, was a bit basic, but it's what we expect in Greece. The bed was comfortable and breakfasts were very nice. Staff were all lovely and helpful. I can't honestly say we'd go back to the Paspalis again because there are so may other nice looking places to stay in Skala. The restaurant was also very good, and popular. But again there are so many nice restaurants in Skala. Our favourites were Socrates and Mikelatos. The local beach is very nice albeit more shingle than sand. Also it's quite steeply shelving and stony as you go into the sea. We spent a day on nearby Kiminia beach which is really nice and sandy and where the sea is quite shallow for a long way out. Overall, we had a lovely holiday in Skala.More
