Arrive in Kittila
After being given your snow clothes at the airport, Santa's elves will take you to your hotel in Levi, Pallas or Yllas. Then, you've got the afternoon free to get a feel for your surroundings. Grab a toboggan and head for the slopes or take a walk through the snowy countryside.
Get a crash course in Lappish culture
Get a crash course in Lappish culture in this taster session. You can take a short husky sleigh ride, and have a go on a snowmobile. One of Santa's elves will tell you a story around the fire, too. The rest of the day is yours to spend how you fancy - wrap up and play in the snow or relax in the warmth of your hotel.
Take your pick
Cruise through the countryside on a snowmobile, or sit back and relax on a sleigh as huskies or reindeer do the hard work. Or why not book the Snow Village excursion? It includes loads of outdoor activities.
Head to Santa's activity area for a day of festive fun. Try your hand at decorating cookies and making Christmas tree ornaments, take a ride on a reindeer-pulled sleigh, and top your day off with a face-to-face meeting with Santa himself. On a Lapland Explorer trip you'll tuck into a traditional Christmas dinner at the gala meal, too.

This is one of our SnowClub properties, which means Captain T will be on hand for plenty of festive fun. He’ll entertain the little ones with activities like snowdog-building, Christmas-themed storytelling and arts and crafts. Plus, he’ll be hosting special festive parties and sing-alongs. Family-friendly quizzes and games are part of the line-up, too.
Sky buffet restaurant*
Found on the top floor of the hotel and open for breakfast and dinner, with its own starry sky offering local specialities and a children's buffet.
Ammila local cuisine restaurant*
This is a really fun restaurant with a kitsch retro Finnish feel. Lunch is buffet style and the evenings have an à la carte menu featuring reindeer meatballs, fish soups and Schnitzel. You'll have a discount here as long as you order a three-course meal and show your hotel card. The restaurant is just a short stroll away - it's part of the hotel complex.
A wee gem in the middle of Narnia
