This place gets the balance between adult-focused and child-friendly just right.
There’s a yin and yang to this place. There’s a quiet adults' pool and a pirate one for children. Then there’s an adults-only bar, and a hotel-run kids’ club.
Location-wise, shops and restaurants are a five-minute walk away, and the old town is about a 10-minute drive. You can be on the small beach in just a couple of minutes.

Enjoyable Holliday remembering it's 4*
I will try and be matter of fact. Listed below are the things which fetched my attention and if I haven't mentioned something then it was probably ok. Pro's: Polite staff - providing you're polite to them. The cleaners, chefs, waiters/waitresses, barmen/women etc do a good job and work long hours, often with multiple roles. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Buffet restaurant is nice food and you get a varied selection. Italian restaurant was nice although there are no starters, only salad. Cons: 1 key card per room (I did NOT ask for a second so unable to comment on availability). No iron available in the rooms. The ironing-room is on the first floor which takes a room card/misc card from reception to turn on. Plug sockets were a country mile (5m) from the bed in our end of corridor (small) room. The pool was tight for space (permanent parasols restrict sunlight) and you find yourself sun chasing all day unless you get the best beds. Around the pool you would get the occasional smell of raw sewage from what I can only assume was the vents on the floor, these also attract some flies - avoid if possible. A few sunbeds are in poor nick with snapped legs etc but are workable. Unable to comment on the adult pool. System for ordering drinks is bizare. You order at a till, they give you a receipt and then you hand it to the barman. BBQ restaurant was way below par - I wouldn't even bother unless you enjoy super dry meat and an audience of a dozen hungry cats. Misc/info: 45min coach transfer from Paphos airport. No porter offered when we arrived in the silent hours (although I was fine with our bags and I did NOT request one). A card was left on the bedside cabinet saying 'Towels exchanged every 3 days' although speaking to people that wasn't the case (i think it only applies to beach towels - don't let it confuse you). Security box is charged (we didn't pay and had zero security worries in a 1st floor room). I saw allsorts of rubbish about the buffet restaurant dress code on here! I wore joggers one chilly morning to breakfast, swimwear and vest to lunch and smart tailored/denim shorts and t-shirt/polo shirt to dinner. €20 per beach towel card (secured against the room until cards are returned at check out). Large mix of nationalities (Brits, Germans, Scandenavian countries, Russians etc) and although some of them have a bad rep we personally had no problems. There are shops, restaurants and bars in the hotel's locality (1-2km) but I found no real decent beach walks to compete with the coastal path in Paphos. You feel safe walking the streets both night and day and we never got hassled once. Tipping is never expected.More

Would not return to this hotel - basically the staff need a good lesson in manners and customer service! They seemed miserable and unable to raise a smile at any time. We even overheard other guests disusing how they could get a smile out of the staff! In the restaurant you are greeted to be seated - which just felt like we were part of a cattle run! We witnessed a couple of members of staff being told off/shouted at in front of the guests - not good management skills. The food was good The entertainment team were great - they work very hard at keeping all the guests sprits up. Although being the tail end of the season, were always smiling and bubbly .. Well done for this!More
i enjoyed going back to the hotel to see the old staff, and remember the good tomes me and my husband had there, it is still clear and the staff are very good, the only thing missing is cushions and the chairs round the pool bar and the cafe, it needs music playing round and family pool all day, it is very quite with out.More

My wife and I have just returned from another wonderful holiday at the Atlantica Oasis. Although we go every year to celebrate our wedding anniversary I was unable to write a review for our 55th anniversary although it was as good as usual. This year was our 56th anniversary and as usual all the staff went out of their way to make us welcome and ensure we had a good time. On arrival we were allocated our favourite apartment ( Thanks to Anthi ) that overlooks the entertainments area and also has a view of the sea and adult pool area. As usual we found the accommodation very clean and all information regarding forthcoming events at the hotel . During our stay we were invited to attend a Cyprus Heritage afternoon where all the staff dressed in National Costume and traditional village crafts were displayed and explained by local villagers. During the afternoon the staff and tourists participated in traditional dancing which was then followed by Greek dancing by professional dancers. All in all, a superb afternoon that was later followed by a dinner of traditional Cypriot cuisine. I hope the management can arrange to do this more often. The staff in the hotel are wonderful and work very hard to achieve a high standard of service. Too numerous to name ( although we know them all ) although I would like to mention the efforts of one of the outside evening bar waitresses Maria Ivanova. This young lady was always very polite and very quick on the service. She looked after her area of the bar in a very efficient manner and was tireless in her efforts.Very commendable. The food in the hotel was as usual of a very high standard with menus to suit everyone.Again the staff in the dining room worked very hard and tables were re-set very quickly to accommodate the constant flow of tourists entering the dining room. In summery a very enjoyable holiday with good food, good entertainment provided by the entertainments staff, and made very welcome by the management. We have already booked for the same time next year, and looking foreward to it and I think reading the recent reviews lots of others are too.More
We recently stayed in room 2160 and had stayed previously in May and June. The staff were friendly, lovely and helpful. The room was lovely and clean with plenty of storage space. The bed has to be one of the most comfortable hotels bed we have ever stayed in. The BBQ and Surf and Turf night had lovely food at them. Entertainment wise, Chey and his team always worked hard to entertain us all and were so friendly and welcoming. Oasis got talent was held on one of our first nights. This was a great night, lovely snacks and it was good to see the management team out. All the management team always look very smart, especially the bar manager who is always very well turned out and it was also nice to see him working the bar one day when the adult pool bar man was off. Ladka was an amazing waitress, who was always there with a smile and very efficient service. She even managed to always remember our room number, which considering how many rooms there were was amazing. The snack bar which served toasted sandwiches, their staff were lovely too and always had a smile when serving us. One main gripe which was the same last time was the adult pool was extremely cold. Food wise there was always a great selection of food and as someone who has food intolerances it was easy for me to pick what was ok to eat as things were labelled clearly and were not too richly cooked. Sun bed wise the towels were not being removed in the mornings which was a bit annoying as last time we visited they were. We love the friendliness of the hotel and would definitely recommend it to others.More
