Jacaranda Aparthotel

Nice pool area, not many sun beds, stayed self catering so can't comment on food but local area has many good bars and places to eat. Apartments very basic clean though. No toaster, very limited on making meals in your room. Its ok, if you plan on getting out and about. Little entertainment, but again plenty of vibrant bars.

Struck lucky with this. Booked only two weeks prior to going, with no real knowledge of the place or location. Turned out to be a perfect family holiday. Far enough out of Protaras to be quiet (what we really like) yet close enough to the beach for swimming in the turquoise waters that surround the area. Had a room on the first floor overlooking the pool and we could see and hear the evening entertainment from the outdoor restaurant area. Area around the pool was quiet for most of the week - no need to reserve sunbeds overnight like some of the British people did, we always found there to be spare beds. Russian guests in the hotel were great with us, as were Greeks and Italians - there is a real mixture of nations using this hotel, which makes for a great holiday, for us. Booked Bed and Breakfast, so didn't get the chance to taste the evening cuisine. Breakfast was fine, plenty of choice, a typical continental breakfast. There are plenty of local restaurants to choose from fro evening meals - a few Greek tavernas, Italian restaurants, a couple of pubs and some upmarket Greek venues too, so never stuck for choice and we didn't feel the need to go into Protaras centre for food, even though it is an easy bus or taxi ride away. Beach highlights were Fig Tree Bay and Green Bay - both beautiful sandy beaches with clean waters and safe for swimming. Green Bay for snorkeling was particularly impressive, as it was quieter than Fig Tree Bay. A great holiday, would recommend Jacaranda Apart Hotels

we booked self catering , prefer to eat out in the many fantatsic restaurants. on arrival late afternoon got in the room no toaster!! had to go back to reception to ask for one. The pool bar was empty, we had no clean towels or clean sheets for 3 days, had to ask at reception !! our stay was for 2 weeks , luckily we know the area well so went out every day. The hotel has no feel good factor what so ever , everyone looks so miserable especially all the russians staying there , your suppose to be on holiday enjoying yourself. The staff didnt seem to be any happier , the place needs updating badly,this hotel isnt a good place to stay if your english !!
