Schhhh don't tell anyone
I will make this short and sweet.....this hotel is lovely, perfect location, literally hundreds of sun beds available on this stretch of beach yes you do have to pay for them but so, I would rather pay for one than battle for one at silly o'clock by the pool. The rooms were immaculate and cleaned every day. Food was a bit samey but with loads of reasonably priced restaurants near by it wasn't an issue. I would definitely recommend and I will definitely return.More
This was the first time at this hotel and at nissi bay. Lovely hotel, lovely staff, very clean and the food was very good.( Although could have been a little hotter ). The porridge was the best I have ever tasted. It's the first time I have ever had porridge abroad as no body else has ever had offered it for breakfast. We had a penthouse for two weeks, and boy the view was amazing. We had a full view of the bay. The beach was well looked after and the sunbeds were €7-50 for two sunbeds and a umbrella. Well worth it. There were sunbeds at the hotel but there was more room on the beach between the sunbeds.you just step from the hotel straight onto the beach. Lovely so relaxing.More
This was our first time at this hotel and we had booked to join our parents for their 50th wedding anniversary this October. We had the week of 5th to 12th October. We were given the 4th floor and had a lovely view right across Sandy Bay beach. We had some amazing sunsets too. The room was always lovely and clean and the air con worked very well. The staff at the hotel were lovely, particularly the restaurant staff, Darius, Stalios and Andri. They were always chatty and helpful and the food you could not fault. There was a variety for breakfast including cereals, cooked breakfast, cake, cold meats, toast along with coffee and tea making facilities. For lunch (we were an all inclusive based holiday) you had to go back up to the restaurant and order your food and the staff would then serve you. Again there was a lovely variety of food from starters through to puddings and main courses were very good. You could have a sandwich or hot food including veggie burgers, chicken dishes and pizzas. The staff would also serve your drinks. The evening meals were buffet style so you could pick what you really fancied eating. There, again, was so much to choice from including the chef's meat of the day which he carved up and it tasted fantastic or there was pastas, vegetables, cheese and biscuits and all sorts of other things. The hotel was adult only which made it quite quiet. The pool area and beds were very nice and there was a small swimming pool (which was very cold) and a jacuzzi which was fairly cold. We did not have far to go down the slope onto the main beach for a lovely swim in the sea. We only had two small complaints really about the hotel and one was sort of remedied and that was that because it was coming towards the end of season they were not very keen to get more ouzo in and we had to keep requesting this, but they did get some in the end, but it felt like we were being rationed and the drinks were quite watered down. The other issue was that it was my parents 50th wedding anniversary and they had been put on the 2nd floor, facing inland which was not a good view, right above the main entrance and over looking dusty land (where a new hotel is going to be built). My mother requested a move to a sea view and was told by reception that she would try and organise this for them but she never did and they ended up spending most their evenings with us on our balcony enjoying the sea view and sunsets. Other than this, I would return to this hotel as it was very clean and in a great location and the staff were wonderful and friendly.More
