We booked through Thomson and looking at those pictures compared to what it actually looked at - let's just say those were taken when the hotel first opened in 2004 and standard have really plumited since then. The hotel which was still open to customers even after we had left had no entertainment at all - the outdoor bar was closed the last couple of days of our stay and it was disgusting and the indoor bar was charging for orange juice and coffee even though we went all inclusive. The made who "cleaned" our room was terrible at doing so we watched her dust off our balcony with a small hand towel and her foot the only good thing is that she emptied our ash tray! The indoor swimming pool had "no lifeguard on duty" while it was raining and everyone was using it and the reception staff were less than helpful every question we had - not to mention when I asked to speak to the Manager for the first time the receptionist jumped to conclusion that I was complaining about "discrimination" and I wasn't complaining at all. Over all. Waste Of Money and TimeMore
Excellent hotel in every aspect
I stayed in this hotel with my partner for 7 nights from the 11th September 2017. I couldn’t fault the hotel or location, it was perfect. The hotel is around 1hr 15minutes away from bourgas airport, we arrived at around midnight on or first night at the hotel, the guy on reception was friendly and polite when we checked in, and our room was clean and nicely decorated. It had a fridge in, which had two packed lunches in for our arrival having missed that day having food at the hotel. The room service throughout the week was great, each day the room was cleaned, mopped and new towels and bedding. The hotel is in a good location if you want a quiet holiday as there isn’t much around it, there are a few bars and restaurants on the beach and 10 minute walk away into the little town. The hotel is a couple of minute walk from the beach, the beach is lovely, and you can pay for sun loungers and parasols. If you walk to the end of the beach near the pools you can climb/walk over the slight cliff and there are some lovely views of the cliffs, and if you carry on walking around 15 minutes there is another beach, smaller and quieter (few naked people here and there) but a good beach. The food at the hotel is lovely, one of the best hotels I have stayed in in regards to the food. There is so much choice for each meal, I’m quite a picky eater and there was always something to eat, different each day too. There's so much choice for starters, mains and desserts each day. The food is served pretty much all day, there is set meal times but then snacks are served in between these, there isn’t an hour of the day that food isn’t served to be fair. The snack bar is good it does pizzas, burgers, chips that sort of thing, and then it does pre packed sandwiches and salads which are handy to take to the beach. Food was always hot and lots of it, didn't have to wait for things to be replenished The pool is a nice size, but it was so so cold, the weather there was 30 degrees and yet the pool temp felt about -1, we only went in once or twice and went to the beach most days. The indoor pool however we went in most days, I think there was only one occasion when there was someone else using the pool at the same time but all the other days it was empty and it was just us. There are a few excursions, things like small boat rides, nesse bar, wine tastings, and the Thomson rep talks through them. We went on the boat ride and photo safari both were good. The safari was funny, as the guy drove round in the 4x4 like we were driving up a rocky cliff, when really the road was almost flat and completely smooth; he looked like he enjoyed himself though. The photo safari, I wouldn’t count as a safari as you don’t see any animals, but it’s still a nice few hours out, you go to the border, a little café for a drink, bee houses, some viewpoints. Although the hotel was busy, there were always sun loungers free, none of the going down at 5am to get your towels out, we went to the pool a few times after midday and there were still loungers free. Staff were always friendly and polite and happy to help. Couldn't fault the holiday, it was lovely. More
Was little worried with all the negative comments..... Transfer was approx 1.5hrs. Room was spacious, and very clean. Nice bathroom with lovely walk in shower. Maid came every day ..... Pool area Plenty of sunbeds, loud music round pool but not too disturbing. Very small plastic cups for soft drinks, needed 2....... Lots of wasps about round drinks machine. Restaurant. Staff very miserable, don't think know how to smile. Lots chips in the plates. Food not very warm at all... Quite bit choice, yes very repetitive but that's all inclusive for you.... Bit strange no veg at meal times..... Lovely beach, but beware do not use the toilets - like a little shed, my hubby went in said was quite disturbed by the state of it especially as the bar on the beach used it... Won't go into detail but does not get cleaned and ppl just doing their business on the floor!! Didnt go beach again... Would definitely go to Bulgaria again but not this hotel as nothing around... Would not advise anyone to come here. Staff are rude only deciding to speak the day we leave. Rooms were not very clean (I found a pair of socks belonging to a previous person under my bed)! Last week of season but half the hotels facilities were locked up or closed up and unavailable to use. Will certainly not be coming again.More
Amazing Bulgarian nature
This was our first trip to Bulgaria. We read some comments on the Internet, it turned out that they were not true(mostly). Really good location(Sinemorets),The manager(Mr.Petkov) was so nice and kind to give us advises to view the local sightseeings, which are so amazing; price-quality excellent!; the service was at very high level; the room was really clean every day; the a la-carte evening was so exciting and we had so much fun, we danced a lot with the staff and the food was way delicious; may be only the loud music from the animation team was quite higher that it should be! For sure I`m going back next summer!More
