The Photography team recently took to the seas for a photo shoot onboard the Thomson Majesty. They joined Thomson Cruises newest addition to the fleet on its Adriatic Explorer itinerary, which calls in at picture-book cities like Venice, Split and Dubrovnik.
Unfortunately, the weather didn’t play ball, and it poured with rain for three days out of four. This meant most guests decided to stay put rather than venture out, so getting shots of the ship without people in the background was a tall order for the team.
But the show had to go on, and indeed it did, thanks to the Entertainment team, who very kindly put on an extra show for the photography crew to shoot.
Another highlight was asking a waiter in the ‘Le Bistro’ à la carte restaurant to keep the flambé crepe suzettes coming. They swear it was so they could get just the right shot and it was nothing to do with eating them!
One morning the team were up and ready to shoot at 5am. This was so they could shoot the ship from a tender boat alongside and thankfully, the sun decided to join them. And rather than letting their hair down on their last night, they spent the evening capturing a romantic outdoor dining scene.
The Photography team would like to thank all the Thomson Majesty crew for being so helpful.
Check out some of the photos from the shoot, some of which are on now the web and will be in brochures soon.
